Segal is a excellent musician, really great, but the talent of Sissoko is overwhelming. In short, is a beautiful combination.

@bacontido I'd like to say, (I play the kora), that yes Ballake's talent is overwhelming, but as I saw them live, I must say Segal has as much merit, because he understood Ballake's african play, and that's not given to every occidental people, above all when they had a classical formation like Segal

Surprenante rencontre entre une Kora et un Violoncelle. Ce morceau et plus largement tout l'album est un doux mélange entre virtuosité, sensibilité, finesse, émotion... C'est excellent, à écouter et à réécouter, on ne s'en lasse jamais!

I just came from this concert in a candle lit church in Harvard Square in Cambridge, MA. While they were playing, the dome of the church dissolved revealing the Milky Way above as we were transported to the deserts of Mali.
