the album is not bad, its just meh. Playback is pretty low, at least for me. They're being flooded with brian enos weird haze of synthesizers Really disappointed with princess of china and up in flames. Princess of china was too distorted and messed up the overall sound. Up in flames was just tedious and repetitive. Hurts like heaven, charlie brown and dont let it break your heart were pretty decent songs. All in all i think they tried a bit to hard to be different

I'm not a huge coldplay fan but this review actually makes me consider listening to this album, I was hugely disappointed with the Viva La Vida album based on the epicness of Viva La Vida the whole album didn't really match up.

Congrats on your exam; "ok" on an insanely difficult law exam is brilliant by my reckoning :) I had a much simpler psych exam yesterday; it was pretty well :)

I will listen to the new coldplay album at some point, then maybe i can comment about your review, lol.

I haven't actually listened to their new album yet, so it was pretty cool to hear your take on it. I generally like their music. I wouldn't say that I'm in love with them, but you know.

On another point, I also just sat a first year law exam (on Monday morning). It was also scary as hell. I feel your pain. haha.

@MySupernaturalRomanc Hey! Firstly, WOW- thank you so much for that comment! But yeah I have to say that I am a bit of a Coldplay fiend (or a least I was when I was a little younger) so I really like their music... I'm not too sure that their latest album is my favourite though! Ah well...
