  • 1:00 no limit to what the human body can do? try jumping off of 10 stories onto concrete. then tell if your body has limits. idiot

  • @evymetal95 yeah bro you did! =) thanks very much

  • damn. wanna be free runner! =)

  • @lildon88 then get outside and move

  • @evymetal95 hahaha.. at first do you need someone like coach or something? hahahaha or what exercises do you need? lol!!! thanks men

  • @lildon88 its better if you do, but you dont need one. i didnt. never been to a parkour related gym in my life. if you dont have access to any profesional help then just start slow and dont do anything you not confortable with. and for conditioning, do tricep dips for tricpes and trap(upper back) and push-ups. in my opinion the most inportant moves you shoud learn first are kong vault, roll and precision jumps. good luck, if you get stuck just send me a message, im no pro but im pretty good :)

  • @evymetal95 THANK YOU SO MUCH BROTHERR! =)

  • @lildon88 haha hope i helped. but seriously, dont rush :)

  • OOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMGGGGGGG I WANNA DO THAT!!!!!!

  • RYAN!!! RYAN!!! RYAN!!!!

  • Im only a beginner T_T

  • @91quintin im a little past the beginer stage but no where close to half as good as ryan doyle.there just aint much to practice on where i live.

  • @mastercheifbuster hey man just dont end up like ryan doyle, you must train your muscles very hard, so they can keep the impact that parkour and freerunning brings, or you gonna end all fucked up and thats not gonna be cool, you must be strong to do that kind of movements and flips and all. take care and train hard.

  • @91quintin david belle was a begginer too, and look at him now

  • Big respect from Slovakia!!! :)

  • YAY PK on MTV

  • Epic1 gonna be there too?

  • okay whait whait whait.... watch Daniel Ilabaca - Choose not to fall.

I remember that video very good, true inspiration. he told about, no competition and the matter of parkour will be lost.

    Just watch the video...

    After that watch this video...

HOW THE F, is he doin MTV's Ultimate parkour challange, thats against his own believe!

  • @UltimatemaxD He is doing this to spread Parkour in america. Everyone knows that People watch MTV. If the MTV's parkour challenge hadnt been showed.. i wouldnt be out making videos doing parkour and being happy in life.

  • @UltimatemaxD You shouldn't be that naive.

  • @UltimatemaxD because it will give him money

  • This is sad... It's not a sport dudes... It's a way of life.... O well...

  • @Th3s3nt1n3l9 It represents what life should be, it's not necessarily the "way" of life.

  • Wow, a lot of you guys are idiots. They just did the competition because, Freerunning/ Parkour (same thing anyways) is very popular now and people like to watch it.Talking about how MTV "ruined" it for you. You are all quitters.

  • @whenikillyou "same thing anyways" sigh...

  • mtv screwed the parkour because the parkour is not a competition it is a philosophy a way to live your life a beatiful live hte parkour change my way to see the world and now the guys that did these for a show...they destroy the name once i was his fan i wanted to be like them...now i never want to be like them i love parkour with all my being

  • Now we're going to have little children jumping off buildings and climbing on private property and jumping from heights they can't handle and injuring themselves, with no understanding of the dedication and sweat a true athlete has to put in. Media tends to aire only that which receives ratings. Like you're ever going to see MTV airing thought-inspiring material... Typical of fucking MTV. FUCK THIS SHIT. I don't even feel like doing parkour anymore, the same reason I stopped doing MA. FU MTV.

  • Skateboarding=parkour soon people. David Belle himself despises the attitude that skateboarders have, the attitude of disrespect for one's body. They break bones and rupture tendons, yet they continue to skateboard. It's going to end up the same as Martial Arts, where the core philosophy has been stripped and it turns into an MMA cuss and smash competition. I was hoping Parkour would never be known by dumbass Americans. These traceurs have lost all respect by me.

  • @theendlesssuffering they do that because their not pussies and bones and ruptures heal. They don't try to break their bones. i do think that people need to realize the difference between free running and parkour though. this is free running. look up the video "parkour, literally" that is pure parkour. and don't disrespect Americans aka the best country in the world.

  • doesn't@idc39 this is not about courage or not been a pussy, this is only about choice man, is not like everybody that doesn't do parkour are pussys, they like and love wath they do, thats why they are willing to break their bones for it, but yet parkour and freerunning is not abou risking you life, and breaking your bones is about been useful and strong, getting yourself fucked up all time wont help on nothing, it will only make you stop practicing earlier, so yes what they are doing is stupid.

  • doesn't@idc39 this is not about courage or not been a pussy, this is only about choice man, is not like everybody that doesn't do parkour are pussys, they like and love wath they do, thats why they are willing to break their bones for it, but yet parkour and freerunning is not abou risking you life, and breaking your bones is about been useful and strong, getting yourself fucked up all time wont help on nothing, it will only make you stop practicing earlier.

  • @stallin100 I completely agree with you. I do parkour myself. well atleast try. but hes making it seem like skateboarding is a sport where people try and break their bones. ( I don't skateboard) its the same as parkour. You can do it as a hobby and their is no real meaning of it being in competetion but people do it anyway and it if they want to do it in competetion thats fine. Same for MMA. And he shouldn't go around disrespecting countries and their people.

  • what have they done to parkour! :(

  • @ashtono1

This is fucking ridiculous. First they put it in mother fucking video games, now MTV... GREAT!! I was fearful this sport was going to turn into shit from the very onset I saw the video's on Youtube. This is exactly what David Belle warned about, he didn't want this sport to turn into some hyped up camera shit. Now these fucking sell-outs totally destroyed the core values and philosophy of this sport and have turned it into skateboarding.

  • thats the way i see it.... in my eyes

  • I'am actually getting tired of the saying of parkour... anyways people understand parkour as a movement and parkour is to get to a place fast and "CREATIVE" Doing flips is being creative....

  • Looks great, but honestly name should be changed to ultimate free-running/parkour challenge, or something like that, because this really is not parkour.

  • Freeruning is life !!!

  • whats hat move called in 0:42?

  • Freerunning involves elements of Parkour, but Parkour does not include Freerunning. The first is an artistic expression of self using acrobatic ability in and around one's immediate environment, while the second is a means of movement through & across one's environment. Of course, it will always have grey definitions. BOTH are equally as difficult & incredible (to learn, to perform, & to witness)! I for one, am happy that the Parkour/Freerunning community is so open to all who want to access it.

  • look im really annoyed that people dont understand that freerunning uses flips to get from point a to point b to point c while parkour is point a to point b its rare seeing a person doing parkour and doing flips but thats just my opinion like really if your running away whats the point of doing a flip when you can just kong vault or cat pass

  • 0:25 fun 0:27 ouch :S

  • what exactly from the phrase "not competitive" you didn't understand?

  • "We're not... Superhuman- Y'know; whether it be a TV show or not...This is our LIFE."

"This is really the first movement to bring parkour to the stage in America."

^^ Yes. And I AM CONFUSED! Has this show really been airing on thursday nights ever since? Im gonna be PISSED if it has been! I want to watch!

  • or wfpf, i baught shoes from you an they never turned up.

    help.

  • call it freerunning plz? like shiet...

  • @numbersview Freerunning and parkour are different bud, parkour is finding the fastest way to get from a to b Freerunning there is no specific destinations (free) running

  • Danni boy is the best. I must have missed this show

  • like wfpf, hate mtv though, the show seems like a good concept but i think it should have been more of a lifestyle type shows, so we can learn more about our beloved athletes, and also the fact that u win money in this show pisses me off, as it makes it look like this is all parkour is good for, even though we all know that it has a deeper meaning than that

  • who is the guy with black hair at 1:06 ??

  • @empahed I'm assuming you mean the guy with the pony tail. That's Danny Ilabaca, in my opinion one of the best.

  • ....did WorldFPF just told me to go fuck myself?

  • unbelievable skills and speed a defenate thumbs up

  • whats that song or melody on 0:41-0:45 and from 1:05 till the end? Please respond!

  • sou um traceur brasileiro do rj gostaria de lembrar q o belle deixa bem claro,

parkour nao é para competiçao,a unica competiçao q um traceur pode fazer é contra seus proprios medos e limites..

  • MTV ultimate comment warrior challenge

  • this show gives free running a bad name

  • this isnt live! ive seen it 3 times and it never changes

  • @JoshReed0

    You showed me.

  • @JoshReed0

No,you faggot, I am not the kind of person that just hates popular things. I am a traceur, and we do not take kindly to this boisterous bullshit being called parkour.

Yeah, David Belle does flips and tricks when he TRAINS. TRAINS being the keyword.

PARKOUR is the art of getting from point A to point B as fast as possible. Parkour is not showing off, or having competitions. Parkour is a mindset, a lifestyle, and a discipline. Take your freerunning bullshit elsewhere.

  • @tehtonym Darn, I can't compete with someone who name calls and swears, but my keyboard also has a shift key so I'm not that bad off. I'm just sad that I can't practice freerunning and parkour without making so many people angry at me.

  • @tehtonym Wow ur just sad.

  • Whats that vault thingy called at 0:17 ?

The guy who does that shoulder slide...

  • PLEASE DONT NAME THIS PARKOUR!

this is the "MTV's Ultimate Freerunning Challenge"

  • THEY DESTROY THE SPIRIT OF PARKOUR!!!

PARKOUR IS NOT COMPETION!! IS FREEDOM!

  • must u ruin everything???

  • This was the first time I watched MTV in a long time (probably since they cancelled bams show

  • YOOO who was the guy busting airflares lmao... i wanna kno

  • @24NerF I'm pretty sure it's Oleg Vorslav.

  • Train without rivals, this show bastardizes everything parkour stands for..

Damn it MTV.. you destroyed music.. please not parkour..

  • spits apon this tv show

  • can i watch it in the uk

  • For those that are supportive, thank you. For those that are passionate, good for you! We hear that this show will be airing around the world in over 200 countries, very soon. The WFPF is open to all opinions... are you?

  • @WorldFPF passionate does not even scratch the surface when i'm doing parkour!!!!!

  • @WorldFPF can we see it in HK??

  • @WorldFPF can we see it in HK??

  • There can never be a challenge in Parkour, that's why Parkour is no sport but an art !

It is absurd to send this on TV, it shows nothing about the training, how hard it is to learn this.

  • @Schmeck34 I have to disagree, you say it's not a sport but art. Sure, but are there not art competitions? And when you watch any other show, does it show you how hard the actors worked to get as good as they are? They can't air creative performances on TV because it doesn't meet your criteria? Are you a member of the FCC?

  • lame

  • me - 3 years of parlour experience and i am disappointed of this show, sure it shines a light on a lifestyle but doesn't show what it is...

  • this is so death race

  • the hosts of the show kill it, stop the competition and start a show about training!!

  • Whats the song called?

    This shows down :D

  • Comment removed

  • well they made this for competition parkour and free running was meant to be a freedom of movement not to compete with each other :D

  • @parkourflip and if you watch the show the free runners don't really seem to care about winning, if they do its nice but if not oh well.

  • @Isosyth yep they are just having fun. For them they just want to do parkour and free running :P

  • and people plsss dont call this a sport cuz its not a sport at all its a dicipline thats a big differents ....

  • @creativemovementNL kk i parkour i agree !!!

    staysafe

  • @creativemovementNL Tell a soccer player that his lifestyle is not a dicipline. Tell a gynast that they do not practice a dicipline. See what kind of response you get. Every sport has it's on dicipline. Sports are created out of these diciplines. And if you tell them parkour is different, it's a way of life, I would recommend you start running away quickly.

  • song please!)

    : )

  • hey is this on foxtel MTV channel because if it is what time does it start cause i wana know

  • sorry i wrote it twice

  • hey is this on foxtel MTV channel cause if it is what time does it start

  • who is the guy with the ponytail?

  • When did flips and competition become parkour? When did encouraging dangerous jumps and big drops become parkour? When did glorifying injury become parkour? Because as far as I know they aren't, yet that is clearly what is in this video which seems to have the name parkour plastered all over it. If you want to promote flips, stupidly big jumps, competition and injury please don't say its parkour.

  • @jumpninja001 When do they ever encourage dangerous jumps? They mention multiple times that it took them years to get up to that point and that its a journey. Also I'm pretty sure that people like Daniel Ilabaca and Ryan Doyle, two of the biggest names in parkour and free running know what the fuck they're doing.

  • MTV sucks :)

  • why did the show seem so hostile?

  • i dont agree with this program at all, but they can show people here 2 ,the same disiplince's and try to share with people what its realy about you see them explain what it is, but i agree with the flips if you put that in there dont call it parkour ultimate challenge, and i think this is bad for your ego but if they have fun with it let them they just wanne show people some entertainment that would have came anytime anyway but im not agreeing with this show not at all.

  • Parkour isn't a sport. And it's not fucking competitive. I can't believe Daniel Illabaca is supporting this... i suppose people will toss their ideals out of the window for a little money. FUCK OFF MTV.

  • this sucks !

  • dude whos gives a fuck its badass!

  • niec

  • great way to spread the sport in america!

  • not even a trace of master belle...

but i find it entertaining hope it airs in the philippines :)

i think ultimate free running challenge would better fit the title..

    goodluck runners

  • I think it's more on "Ultimate Free Running Challenge" :)

  • @parkourflip yea..

  • wow, the division of the Parkour community makes me worry more than the show...

  • whoa wait Travis is gonna host?! haha! I gotta congratulate him tomorrow when i see him! lol

  • Andy Bell should stay on nitro circus

  • 00.52, was that for this was it? I thought it was just a bit of fun? If it was for this, why isn't Phil in the write up under WFPF athletes? Have they just stolen the footage?!

  • 1:01 the song please :)

  • Man the show is presented horrible. I'm not attack the guys competing. I just find the two hosts as boring and ingenuity as humanly possible. Almost everything they say sounds scripted. Live is a bad idea for this show. The chatter is laughable.

  • So is this going to be a regular series now? I remember seeing this a few months ago. Must have been a pilot or something.

  • i'd say disable comments dudes, these people just dont understand what it is to know what expressing yoursel truly is...

  • no shit, all the "facts" presented on this piece of shit are wrong, and none of these faggots do parkour, they free run. fuck mtv, and fuck all these trendy faggots that think they do parkour.

  • @tehtonym Even David Belle does tricks when he trains. It's good for full body cordination. But you're one of those people who hates anything popular. Such an anti-bandwagoner that you cross the border into hypocracy. I saw Belle do a backflip once. Guess he's just another trendy faggot... too bad.

  • i like seeing all those guys they're heroes but the thing is I CANT SEE THEM COS I CANT SEE MTV and they wont upload it on youtube ¬¬

  • parkour owns...but MTV in general sucks.

  • Pro Parkour Against Competition.

  • I hate this with such passion!!! This is exactly what I didn't want for parkour! I'm so dissapointed with the individuals who are participating in this who i know personally! You guys give this piece of shit credibility!!!!

  • 0:36 = Tim Shieff ^^

  • fuck man,i missed it ....shit,i really wanted to see it

  • @PS3GRIMREAPER91 you didnt miss much. 80% talking and commercial. First round was stupid, about team work? 4 got eliminated because "poor team work" But tell me when is there team work in parkour? Besides that, someone who is good should not suffer because of someone elses lack of team work.. Stupid.

then round 2 was a race, not even focusing on skills, just speed off running and a little jumping. Over all this was very poor.

  • @itsamemari009 The 4 guys didn't get eliminated simply because of poor teamwork. The videos were also judged on creativity and tricks.

  • @StarryJC Yeah.. actually it was word for word... "you were creative and had skill, but lacked team work" And the thing was the more creative and skilled team (what the host said) the more creative skilled team lost! WORD FOR WORD

  • @itsamemari009 Well considering it was a team video I would think that teamwork would be important. And by the way there is definitely teamwork in parkour. You know, from TEAMs. Like The Lost Boys or Civil Chaos. Yes they mostly focus on individuals but they do work in team stuff too like synchronization of tricks from 2 or more people...

  • @itsamemari009 To be fair, they always change up the teams, so other than Pip everyone has been in the final at least once (some more then others *cough* Tim *cough*). So in reality you have seen pretty much all of the guys show off their skills. That said, I think that they should make all of the eliminations like the first show where Daniel Ilabaca won where the losing team went through a speed course and one of them still had a chance to be in the finals.

  • @StarryJC Thing is I wrote the original comment after the first episode or so? Before I new there were other shows, or team switching up, witch is fine and all, but yes, the losing 4 should have "the best" Sent threw to the finals... Over all though I think mtv has butchered Parkour

  • @itsamemari009 Not sure I've ever encountered anyone in the parkour/freerunning community who is genuinely opposed to team work. I think you're missing a big point.

  • @JoshReed0 Spam much? And yes when a completion has a 1st place position, I find is stupid they base round 1 on team work. Life isnt fair but I find it dumb that peoples fates in winning rely on others. I also find that you are a dumb ass for trying to sound smart correcting everyone. Specially when you seem to have no clue what you are talking about. fucking oxymoron

  • @itsamemari009 I'm sorry, I forgot I was not allowed to have an opinion. I'm also sorry you have such a grudge against teamwork. Never say that at a job interview. And an oxymoron is something that cantradicts itself. A sport is defined by competition so by saying non-competitive sport is an oxymoron.

  • @JoshReed0 stop spamming you moron. You arent smart, now go make a friend in the real world and stop clinging to the hope people will like you here. Trying to be a know it all will no make people like you. In fact, it makes people dislike you. So go ahead and retort. Its all you got going for you.

  • @itsamemari009 If that was my cue to log off youtube and start crying I missed it. It's funny how no one can actually counter my points yet instead insist on making presumptions or insults towards me. Until that happens I can't believe I've been defeated. I'm not offended in the least by hypocrisy.

  • @JoshReed0 yeah but parkour is an art actualy a way of life if u practice it u will see that this is true so u rly have to go on the ideea that u have to train whit no competition

  • @FartingBearPower Thank you for writing the first respectful response I've recieved. All I'm getting at is that you can't set parkour apart from other sports, disiplines, arts, etc based on passion. It's a little arrogant to say tracuers are more passionate than free runners, or tennis players or painters and so on. Some of them having competition as their sole drive. Parkour can't be "ruined" by competition except by those believe and accept its ruin.

  • @JoshReed0 ...FartingBearPower is right... Parkour is without competitions, but there is also something with competitions. It's called Parkouring... it is nearly the same (but with competitions)... because it is nearly equal, most people think it is the same, and that is the problem....

  • @SouIrunner My point in the situation is that I don't care what people call it. I'll keep doing "parkour" "freerunning" and whatever else I want and won't be bothered by what other people call it. It's all creative movement after all. Just different genres, like music. I don't want to be the person to hate something because other people are doing it or doing it differently. That's a good way to be a hypocrite. So I don't really see a "problem"

Positivity and focus go a long way.

  • @JoshReed0 you are right we are pasionate but we cannot say that we are more pasionat than others i like what u said at the end that is also true but i have to admit that Mtv's way of making it a competition (and presenting other thing not just PK) is the particular one that has 2 go to the fans(masses of ppl) and rly ruins a big part of it

  • @FartingBearPower MTV ruins everything! Ha, the competition doesn't bother me personally, but I don't agree with the way they explain/portray parkour either. I just choose to ignore it. If only they called it something else right? Then we wouldn't even have had this discussion.

  • yeah hes amazing it looked like he wasn't even trying to go that fast but he did it faster then everyone else he is the master!

  • This isn't even true parkour, this is free running none of their facts are even right! They seriously didnt do their research right they didnt say one thing about David Belle! they say that daniel guy is the purest parkour practitioner in the word.....how about the man who invented the sport of parkour, but thats mtv for ya

  • @straightGRIZZLYadams invented? you mean gave it a name...

  • @straightGRIZZLYadams suk a dick

  • @straightGRIZZLYadams

Although there's no mention of Belle, Danny is genuinely one of the most dedicated and understanding traceurs around. He could talk for hours about the depth of movement, and sometimes he does.

  • @straightGRIZZLYadams Parkour isn't a sport lolz =P

  • @straightGRIZZLYadams While I mostly agree about the program distorting the values of parkour, in the actual program it gives one of the best definitions of parkour in the media so far , even mentioning how it was derived from from the method naturelle introduced to the french military. It does explain this over the top of guys doing flips with explosive sound effects put on the landings however... :|

  • @PyroD00d i personally dont like the show. i myself am a freerunner and the show makes more people want to start doing parkour. i like the fact that me and 2 of my close friends are the only ones who do what we do. now after the mtv show its becoming more popular and you have all those fake kids who say they do flips but when in reality all they can do is frontflip to assland. it pisses me off.

  • @chechebumbum The point of parkour isn't about being some cool hip underground thing. Your supposed to spread the word about it because it's such a great device for 1) getting in shape 2) overcoming obstacles in your life. Proof of that is Daniel Ilabaca and Mike Turner (I think thats his name).

  • @straightGRIZZLYadams David Belle only named it parkour but he didn't invented the discipline and moves of parkour... :P

  • @parkourflip you cant invent discipline lol

  • @straightGRIZZLYadams why can you? ^^ well I'm just saying he made the parkour name and make it famous :)

  • @parkourflip your stupid discipline is not something that can be invented lol thats like saying you invented courage....

  • @straightGRIZZLYadams Actually you can invent discipline like self discipline you can invent it by testing it to yourself... discipline isn't built up by doing stuffs it's built by choice...

  • How come you CAN critizice without doing your homework, this is not even a SPORT

  • @laloyoutobe well THANKS for all the EMPHASIS on your comment, buuuuut i THINK thats more of an OPINION really and YOU can't say IT isn't a SPORT to OTHER people....

  • @straightGRIZZLYadams The founder of Parkour clearly stated that Parkour is NOT a sport. Oh well, I guess different people have different views about a certain activity. It's the same about football. " )

  • @laloyoutobe did they say it was a sport> stop assuming. and yes some people think it is a sport. sorry they dont have pads and a scoreboard. be more open minded.

  • @laloyoutobe There is a competition and therefore it is a sport by definition. Face it, there is competitive parkour and recreational parkour just like any other sport.

  • @straightGRIZZLYadams actually the first sentence in this video IS the definition of parkour. they just mix in some free running with it. stop being all butthurt.

  • @straightGRIZZLYadams parkour isnt a sport.

  • This is the World Freerunnung Parkour Federation. (WFPF) This is based on them, not the world. David Belle and Damien Walters are a few of the greatest traceurs in Parkour, but not a part of WFPF.
