Three homosexual children doing special things in a tent, then seeing a cereal box, thus causing them to mutate on inhumane proportions into some potheaded yellow bastard who is constantly under the influence of honey, who then go on a rampage whilst they sing a song out of some kind of horror movie DOES NOT MAKE ME BUY THIS FUCKING CEREAL!!!
You know, given the way that that tent bulges about it's interesting to wonder why that tent didn't collapse sooner. By the way IO think there IS a slightly longer version of the school history class one.
i've been on a mission to get these commercials for years now. the school trip to the factory video has eluded me so far. though i do remember another ad which is similar to the breakfast one which has a girl trying to reach for the cereal instead.
Hey KingGeebo, definitely let me know when you find them! :) My website (see desc) is supposed to help gather these.. I have a Yahoo group too, but eh. 8)
I didn't know there was one with a girl and breakfast.. and I"m glad I heard a confirmation about the factory one! :)
yes there is definitely a factory one. however rumour has it that there are longer versions of the school history class one and the fairground one. i'm pretty sure there are as i remember them being longer.
Can you explain that breakfast one with the girl, I really can't remember that one. From what I remember it's the Breakfast one, followed by the school one, then the scouts, possibly a promotional one for bookmarks (that one I am unsure of). Fairground, another promotional one for little jigsaw puzzles, Factory one and lastly the tropical island one. If can tell me what you can remember of it, it might jog my memory.
There was another one of these ads I remember, where a boy goes out into the snow to collect the milk, but it's frozen. I think that was the one where he ends up on a desert island after turning into the honey monster?
Never saw the last one you describe with the field trip, but I would like to.
Have you thought about contacting the TV station that showed the ads? Surely they must keep an archive?
I read about the 'field trip' one from somebody else, to be honest <:/ I think Nigo might have better luck than I-- I'm in the USA and don't know any UK stations. Don't know if I'd be able to get a copy of any of these ads from a UK Broadcaster.. but that'd be nice, if I could :)
Should have been three teenage girls in school uniform. That would have been more interesting I think anyway. Love the school ones myself. School was an excellent setting for these ads and the most obvious place to set one of these ads
I wouldn't mind seeing that Sugar Puffs School Tour Ad myself again. I only ever saw it once or twice before. I really hope you find it TrueSure Thumb because I haven't been able to.
Remember these ads so well. The ones I remember in this series are: Breakfast (The boy in his PJs), The School History Class, Boyscouts, The School Tour ro the Sugar Puffs factory and possibly one other, though I can't really remember
Thanks for putting that up, I'm the kid with the dark hair in that ad. I Have not seen it, since it was filmed back in 1988. My kids will get a kick out of this.
Now here's a real Classic!! Fair play to you for putting this up!! If I'm not too much mistaken another one of the ads in this particular series was set in a school. I'd really like to see that again if anyone has it. Thanks and well done!!!! Nigo82
I remember this advert, when I was a really young kid this advert actually gave me nightmares because I feared of becoming a Honey Monster.

The breakfast one with the boy was the first one I saw(and it's on YT)
The classroom one was the second(was on YT, now on Google vids)
The boy scouts one was the third
The fairground one was the 4th.
The second breakfat/desert island one was the fifth.
The factory and breakfast girl one I don't have a clue about - you're the only guys that have heard of them it seems!
And this sort of sequence could be used for a whole load of morphs! :)

Okay guys, this is what I can remember about the school trip to the Sugar Puffs factory:
a) group of students (boys and girls) gather outside the gates of the Sugar Puffs factory and one pulls on a rope attached to a bell.
b) door opens and two secretaries guide the group around the factory.
c) One Student says "I want my honey!!!"
d) All the students then turn into the honeymonster.
Now I really can't remember the rest of it. Hoepfully now, that'll jog someone's memory.

Just wondering guys, does anyone know what the last "you'll go monster-mad for the honey" advert was at all?
Nigo82 3 years ago
No idea.. I remember hearing that the order was:
Breakfast, Boyscouts, Carnival, Classroom, and the final one with the Field Trip.
I don't know the actual order though. Find some more ;)
