  • Excelente video, gracias mi hermana por compartirlo. Un abrazo desde el Mayab para los hermanos indios del Norte

  • There should be a month to honor Native Americans.Give me a petition for a holiday to honor Crazy Horse, and I will sign it.

  • so cool. wish i could be there

  • Wonderful video!

  • Lilah this is wonderful. Thank you for bringing this to mainstream.

Peace dear woman. Lie still all will go on and people do have respect though our government would like to look the other way. Shelley sent me this and I'm so grateful for both of your friendships.

    Peace be to us all.

  • Crazy Horse didn't want to fight, he was more a lover of peace and a man of medicine like his father but it was either fight or die in the Reservations. None of our leaders wanted to take another's life. The fought only for their freedom. Well done video!

  • Great video Lilah! The music is fantastic......Thanks for letting us know about this brave man and to remind us this important piece of Native American History. Well done. Thanks to John W.S. and Jim Cortes.

  • A holiday long over due!

  • Realy good Lilah, Good to remember a true hero of the Earth. One day it will be a world holiday,as the name and deeds of Tasunka Witko are spoken of around the world.A hero leading by example. When a truth is known it is unforgetable, always the memory will be honored. As long as there is injustice on this land, the wisdom passed down has given best hopes for inspiration as we see this time to remember a natural human being. Thanks Lilah,to you and John, to Grandpa Eli for leading.Good song too~

  • @FLUTISSIMA thank you Christine.

  • What a great video Lilah and this is so great that you honor this National Holiday!!

    This was so beautiful Lilah!!

Thanks for sharing it with me too!! ; - )

  • @CousinSusie thank you Susie

  • We must honor and celebrate our first peoples. A crazy horse day and or a native american day would be great. But you know they will take it and commercialize it to death!

  • Oh yes, I can see it, weird sales at the stores and who know what else they would come up with. Did you know there is a Native American Day? It's the day after Thanksgiving. It's a slap in the face, to me it is any way. Thank you for you constant support. It's an honor to have you here.

  • Favorited it also !

  • Lilah GREAT video and beautiful pictures! When I was in Montana, Chief Bisco Wolf took me into the mountains and brought us to a spot where Crazy Horse used to have visions--and when we went there--- his descendants had just been there the week before and had planted a tree there.... I couldn't believe I was standing at that spot where Crazy Horse used to go.... Great vid Lilah--I'm going to hit my share button for your video right now !

  • Great video you made, Crazy Horse was a great man , he had a great spirit,

    hugs margo

  • Hey Lilah...thanks for making this important video...

we mustnt forget any of our great leaders...and a national holiday

is the least we can do for Crazy Horse...

As U know...in my head we all are brothers and sisters

Hoka hey its a good day........

And thanks to John who was on my mind just yesterday

    Ove

  • thank you for sharing this with me---its so wonderful --

thank you so much Lilah (many hugs my sister)

  • At 4.05 you can see some candy laid at the base of the memorial stone. Adults sometimes place tobacco there as an offering. The kids dont have tobacco, so they leave what they got, candy. LOL. I think thats great. The kids wanted to leave something as an offering to C.H. so they gave what they had in their pockets. Thats a good thing. Crazy Horse would smile about that because the kids were giving what little they had.

  • That granite rock at 4.05. Eli and me took that rock from Beaver Creek to take to the fort at the memorial stones. Eli wanted that to remain there and he said the oyate wanted it there too. But the land owner came and took it back, so it is not at the fort now. Traditional Lakota are the riders but later, at the fort, other supporters like the Peyote Church camp out and join in the ceremonies. They dont ride with the traditionalist's but they offer their support at the fort. It's a good cause.

  • There's two Crazy Horse annual rides. This one is the Warriors Ride in honor of C.H. and his followers. It's different to the other one. This one is to honor the spirits of C.H. and his band and to promote a national holiday in his honor. Originally organised by Gramps Eli and his two sons, John and Junior, sadly both passed away in recent years but the ride goes on. Chubbs is one of the leaders too. Ride three days, fourth day reach the fort and ceremony for C.H. and his band. Thanks Lilah. X

  • Gramps Eli is getting old man now. He has a dream that he would like to see come true before he passes. That dream is for the U.S. to recognize a national holiday in honor of Crazy Horse. First Nation peoples are rarely recognised by the government and that needs to be changed. Over 50 percent of senators are in favor of this holiday but a few more are needed to make it a recognised holiday and put it on the calendar. Write to your local government official and ask them to support this please.

  • a day to remember and celebrate is long overdue~peace with love and respect

  • Ein sehr schönes video, leider eine sehr sehr traurige geschichte wünsch dir einen schönen sonntag liebe grüsse chrisi

  • Lilah really beautiful,as always your work is important!...Especially for those who still celebrate Columbus Day, which is to be abolished...sure would be a real sign of change to honor a great man with a " Tashunke Witko Day"!

    Support INDIGENOUS NATIONAL HOLIDAY

    Thanks Lilah...

  • we need one for cuauhtemoc also.
