  • can u make this vidio any shorter its to long

  • I drove and worked in some. Cadillacs,Olds,Pontiacs.

They were smooth riding, fast with 472 and 500 cu inch Engines.

Not much room for treatment, but for Private Ambulance Transport runs, they were great.

  • @RJBFIRECHIEF1 he said befor paramedic so basically if u wherent fully dead they loaded up up and drove to the hospitial

  • @cber8860 Right the first paramedic unit went into service in the early 1970's...before that there were "ambulance attendents" trained in basic basic first aid. Boy Scouts were trained in beter first aid then some. What was really scary is in lots of places in the United States ambulances also doubled as hearses, so if you called an ambulances say in the 50's - 70's you might get one that says ambulance on the window, but Jims Funeral Home on the door.

  • @paraawesome Exactly! Many FH's changed the hood on their hearse which doubled for an Amb in the early days.

FH's had the money to buy Ambulances and provided service to their community, as they were well respected and provided care.
