  • LOL at the lil character thingy on a stick at 1:07

  • @MrGlinzz Read the comments below about who ppl think that face on the stick is...lol.

  • @davebender he looks like slash hahahaa

  • All jokes about "not being able to shoot straight" herein included by reference!

    :-)

  • @C24B9 Heh. Google: "The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight." Wicked good humor...

  • Hey why not shoot thru the giant gaping holes in the walls? ; )

  • @mac163 Umm, maybe because it's a drill, ya' doofus...

  • @davebender hint: this ¨ ; ) ¨ represents a sly smile as a symbol placed at the end in a humorous and/or sarcastic remark or comment etc. now who is the doofus? not me, at least thats what the voices in my head tell me at least. ; )

  • @mac163 Lol - I iz pwned... heheh.

  • @davebender lol no problem bro. ¡long live Israel!

  • stupid soldiers the walls are see through just look in !!!!!

  • @crowdsurfers Umm, maybe because it's a drill, ya' doofus...

  • @davebender i was messing lol sry wasent very clear

  • @crowdsurfers Like I wrote to Mac163 - my bad. You're cool.

  • NICE 1

  • thats not an Israeli made weapon, its called the POF EYE, it's Pakistani made...

  • @helix4811: Well, actually, no - it's not Pakistani: I interviewed the developers, wrote the story and personally shot the video. "Popeye" is an air-to-ground missile, also developed by Israel. Oh, also: spamming me 20 times with this note is bad, so buh by...

  • @helix4811 The ignorance! Pakistan is a shit hole! period!

  • nah there jews its definetley jesus

  • Lol! Nah - it's really "dave chappell posing as lil jon" as someone wrote down below.

  • ..In 1:01 is that a picture of slash they are shootin at?

  • Lol - I love it! Others asked if it was Jesus, and one wondered if it was: "dave chappell posing as lil jon?...

    Heh.

  • Not only when you obtain good cover and and a low target profile while keeping good accuracy and posture with a cornershot, but two soldiers can more easily fight from the cramped space around a doorway.

  • Finally: Readers who know something about shooting in the real world, and not just from a video game! Thanks for the comments.

  • this is actually useful , you are in cover but still shooting accurate rounds.

  • great stuff

  • It seems like a nice alternative to exposing one self to an enemy, however it seems that it would only be viable practically in a few situations.

Personally I'd employ more orthodox methods of CQB, but it's always good to have more options, especially considering the nature of urban combat.

This isn't an innovation though, the Germans had designed more advanced systems during WW2 that employed intermediate rifle rounds. It used a mirror which meant that the user wouldn't be lit up.

  • I understand that the German version has a curved barrel that tended to blow up, so not so innovative... read the other comments about the details.

  • *Sign* Biased much? The Krummlauf was a display of innovation, where as in contrast this development over 60 years later is not.

The field reports displayed that the weapon performed well in the harsh standards of the Eastern Front, the only issues were with the effective range observed.

However the current system displayed here, does not restore such issues and introduces new problems like exposing the operator at night with the monitors' light. Far from being innovative nor inventive.

  • Hey pal, it's not about bias (and considering the racists sites you push, that's a joke) - just what I've read about the gun. I don't have stock in this weapon, just wrote a story and filmed it.

If it was such a great device - why isn't it used today - and this one is, widely?

    Sheesh, you're banned.

  • those things are being used in urban environment - when you hind behind a corner the enemy cant see your face -even if there is light from the screen.

there is other usage - shooting from behind cover in open areas - but if you need cover in open area that means you already got exposed - so the light of the screen is not gonna change anything.

  • I'm a former IDF soldier myself and i've done quite enough urban warfare training. The most dangerous and crutial part is an enterance point. Two soldiers entering simultaniously through narrow door, "stabbing" connors and scanning for turgets - are very volnarable to the covered shooter inside or to a granade. This tool could be quite useful with that situation - but in my oppinion, only as addition to a regular guns.

  • dimadan: points taken, but again - this was just a drill for the cameras - not a "real" SWAT tactic...

  • 1, may be 2 soldiers could carry it as a special tool - but wilst inside, the others will have to rely mostly on the regular guns. As for the question of lighting - it's kinda hard to seal the house in a Palestinuian village without the villagers knowing it. So the target will most likely be already aware of your presence. Secondly, the screen could be turned on immideatly before entering to minimize exposure. Thirdly - i belive that the light this screen produces is very dim as it is/

  • dont suppose anyone has a take down image of this cause i dont see how the gun works if the trigger isnt connected to the part of the barrel which turns. i just dont get how this thing can shoot

  • There's a trigger mechanism in the rifle stock that pulls the pistol's trigger.

  • 1) Why just not use a flashbang...

    2) If I was in the room, i'd see that gun which would give me enough time to throw a grenade. It took about 4 seconds for the person with the gun to find a target and shoot...not to mention that If i had a brain i'd also move out of the way -.-. Basically, use a flashbang...

  • Because it's not a video game, like those on your site. It's a weapon to stop bad guys by shooting them, and not just KAPOW blinding them.

  • So flashbangs are useless?

  • (Sigh) No - but they are for different uses. A stun grenade does nothing but go bang, and is only good for a moment when you are actually going into the room.

  • Sorry, I was being sarcastic.

You'd really have to drill with this weapon to speed up team entry. That's a long time to stand in one place.

  • Look - this was a slo-mo drill for the press cameras, not a live clip from "America's Wildest Anti-Terror Squad Videos!" In other words - chill, and we're cool...

  • I'm perfectly calm. It was a comment, not an all out verbal assault on Israel. I saw the cameras, I just hope that thing can be used faster when it's needed. See, I realize you've been under pressure answering the same sort of questions over and over again in this video and banning people right and left, but you don't have to be cross with everyone who comes by your channel.

  • Oh, no no: sorry - it not that, no offense taken, nothing personal and I'm not at all cross - it's just that I filmed and wrote the story, provide all the links and then some folks wander in and just post weird stuff. As you can see - I don't ban good chats like yours, just wackos.

  • If you wrote an article on it, you should toss a link in the description. :P

  • If you spot the gun and throw a granade - the soldiers outside storm immideatly into the house taking cover from the granade and killing you in a process.

And secondly - as was mentioned - that was a slow demonstration for the press. In real situation you'ld most likely be dead before u pull the ring of the granade.

  • It should turn for 180 degrees

Then, there will be no more terrorists in the whole world

  • Especially if you and your ilk give it a go, first. Oh, and you're banned, scumbag.

  • @besobar If it could turn for 180 degrees you would shoot yourself. You probably meant being able to turn the barrel both left and right to roughly 135 degrees from the central position.

  • Too bad I would just shoot the guys through the walls. Corner shot fails horribly...

  • (sigh) Umm, the idea is that you'd see that you were shooting the right person: the terrorist and not the hostage...

  • it's not call of duty 4 you idiot

  • Lol...

  • @LeeJonB Shooting somebody through solid matter would most likely rend the bullet useless, and you probably wouldn't be able to see them in the first place. Also consider that some walls may be better kept unholey, and that there may be explosive material inside.

  • kitty cornershot

  • I think they equip the handgun and hold it like a riffle

  • long live judism

  • Too bad it can only turn 60 degrees

  • Looks like a pistol on a pole... or is that an assault rifle?

  • I had a nerf gun that did this when I was 4 years old, I'm pretty sure it's a nerf innovation.

  • LOL I had the same one!

  • the terrorist's last thoughts must be like oh crap the cats have taken over the world...ITS THE APOCOLYPSE!!!!

  • fuck u

  • Hmmm. 19, German, and hates yids... there's a pattern here somewhere, I know it. Ah right: you're banned, putz.

  • israelis are the terrorists are they not? I mean Palistine was there before isreal.

  • No, they're not, and certainly not here, ya' dumb yob. "Palestine," was the name the Romans gave to the area after dispossessing the Jews, who were there since Biblical days. The Arab invasion didn't take place until the 7th c., and the so-called Palestinians, not until the mid-20th c.

  • Palistine never existed the word plastine is from romeen origence and the Palistinens only started calling themself that i the 60's

  • Heh. Southpark. Love it.

  • they shot slash on 1:07...lol

  • Philadelphia Police department needs these.

  • i like the idea of those gun, but they would be inacurate and the screen is fairly small to see through and verify your target with, and for me (used to mp5) it would be crazy to shoot around corners like that. but then again i have never fired one of those.

  • Acually, i attached a digital camera to my ak-47 and its fine :/

  • It's pretty amazing that people who play video games all day long on YouTube, think they know so much more about real weapons than those who actually have to, like, use them... jes' sayin'.

  • its a video about the zohan!!! LOL

  • ...and you don't mess with the Zohan... heh.

  • lame. They might work in prepared situations where target positions are known. I doubt they are quick enough in unknown situations. The FOV of the screen, and the quality itself it too low for that.

  • first of all they dont know were are the targets thats a part of thire traing second a few years back an israeli spiceal forces team killed 7 terrorist and rescued 2hostges in 30 seconds

  • how does a weopon like this work? Is the bullet actually being fired through a curved barrell?

  • D'oh! Read the explanation, read the story, watch the video - how much simpler can I make it?

  • it can hold every gun evan ak47m,

    and m203

  • i find it really ironic that Iran security forces are using this weapon....what happen to "Death to Israel"? looks like they rely on Israeli protection methods too.....

  • Scroll down to read some of the earlier comments about who designed it first...

  • same weapon used in the movie 'wanted' starring angelina jolie

  • SO true... i LOVE a girl like her with a weapon like this :D

  • nice ideal but to bad it is equipped with a pistol

  • Read the other comments. It can also take a rifle, grenade launcher and similar devices.

  • pistol rounds are better than rifle rounds when it comes to CQB hostage rescue situations because pistol rounds don't have the danger over penetration which can result in hostages being injured or killed.

  • yea looks like ass^^

  • it can allsow hold micro a uzi

  • Israeli? this weapon was design by Mexico invented in 1999 .The idea was then sold to the israel army.

  • Yeah, right. You, the Iranians, the Germans and the CIA several comments back. Sorry, but you're wrong, paco: I interviewed the inventor myself, as well as National Geographic TV, and a host of other media outlets.

  • off course not, was designed by amos golan also an israeli

  • Kitty corner shot is way better. LOL

  • Cute, heh... But I always called it "catty-corner." Maybe the cat got your tongue...

  • Is it a rifle with a handgun at the end??? Looks like a pistol by the muzzle of the rifle barrel. im i right?

  • It's a pistol, but rifles, and grenade/tear gas, etc launchers are also available.

  • well good job isreal :). there americas allies. so this will help with the war on terror. also for people criticizing them i think they are fighting a holy war. im not a jew but i have no problem with them.

  • Iran has made an exact copy of this.

  • Got a link on that, for more information?

  • Type in on Youtube "new Iranian military achievements" and you'll see this weapon about half-way through the video.

  • Just goes to show you that industrial espionage is universal.

  • It's not industrial espionage,LOL Iran is not that advanced. Someone from Iran just watches to much YOUTUBE LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • what do iran need this anti terrest Weapon for ??

  • Who ever made this video is full of it, The cia created corner shoot, some time ago, and infact they are starting to give the northamerican union police officers those guns.

  • Hey little grrrrl, you are wrong. While there may be similar devices on the market, this is an Israeli invention. I filmed and edited the video, and wrote the accompanying article, so I know what I'm talking about. Law-enforcement agencies worldwide buy from other countries, such as Israel.

  • wow..hasn't Israel made enough problems, i hardly think they should be creating weapons...they use it for the wrong reason...anti terror my ass...what the fuck was the point of attacking lebanon

  • Oh, where to begin with such imbecility: Not "be creating weapons," so Jews can just roll over and die for you and your ilk? Depraved child killers are your freedom fighters out there in the Virgin Islands, huh, fanboy? The "point" of "attacking" Lebanon was to respond to 4,000 missiles fired into Israel that killed over 160 civilians and soldiers, and the kidnapping of three soldiers in a border raid into Israel, nitwit. Anti-terror your ass might well be a good thing, in the end.

  • Basically, they placed a handgun on a joint with a stick on it.

    not really impressed.

  • Sigh. Somehow we'll all have to live with the ache of not impressing you.

Truly, your country was so much more impressive in the Belgian Congo. Lovely legacy your parents and leaders left you there, eh?

  • They made something like this in WWII. It was a curved tube. It wore out eventually and the bullets went through, and straight ahead. Not really that innovative.

  • This is not the same idea, at all, actually, Please read the comments before commenting.

The German weapon was never extensively used due to problems with barrel distortion from heat, rendering it useless. I understand that the FBI was looking into a similar device in the 1960's. The thing with the Cornershot is that it works with many pistols, and the camera can also work remotely with a fire coordinator viewing several gun cameras at once.

  • It's the same concept, being able to fire around a corner. This is merely a better implementation.

  • Anti-Terror tool? It's just a gun that shoots around corners, that's cool enough already, no need to "sugarcoat it".

    Anyway, awesome video.

  • this gun has like no stopping power. Its just a piece of metal with a pistol attached to it.

  • was that a carboard cutout of dave chappell posing as lil jon?

  • whats wrong with a grenade?

  • It will kill the right and the rong one?

  • The cornershot is to see if anyone is there and to take them out stealthy. I dont think they will ever come up with a grenade with a camera attached to it. That would be a waste just to see it blow up. Plus would cost to much.

  • Jip thats right .. the german weapen offerd a good chance ( after a 100 shots) to blow up your own face. it was more an improvistation

  • mmhhh looks a little bit like the german rifle MP43, called Krummer Lauf. It was a device which featured a special clamping apparatus that enabled the barrel to be fitted. muzzle and bolted into place. Relatively heavy and unwieldy, the first Krummer Lauf design sported an actual barrel length of nearly 19 inches. The barrel's diameter was just under an inch, bored and rifled in standard armory fashion, then cold-bent to a 90-degree angle. .. copyd from:

    historynet dot com -> krummer-lauf

  • Good note. However that weapon was never extensively used due to problems with barrel distortion from heat, rendering it useless. I understand that the FBI was looking into a similar device in the 1960's. The thing with the Cornershot is that it works with many pistols, and the camera can also work remotely in parallel, wirelessly.

  • russian police special forces boght this weapons!

    very good!

  • look at 1:01 - 1:08

is that a picture of jesus?

  • Duuuude. You should do less drugs before going on YouTube, m'kay?! That's a target pic of a terrorist in a kefiya (burnoose)...

  • I actually think it is the guitarist Slash...but...maybe Slash is Jesus?

  • Welllll... you never see them appearing together in the same place, so - hey - anything's possible...

  • this is supercool!!

  • this is dumb, what would you do when you are trind tohit someone in far distances!! its so meant to be just for hostage senarios!!

  • its for close quarter combat... Its not designed for medium to long range engagements.

  • Far distances??? you DO know that this is only a pistol, right?

  • It also can be equipped with a submachine gun, so you can shoot terrorists with your UZI, without turning a corner!

  • It's also capable of carrying submachineguns, assault rifles, and even grenade launchers.

  • not capapble the smg and grenade launcher is already a built in feature

  • Umm, no, they're not. They have to bee attached, as noted elsewhere.

  • check their site there are variations of cornershot theres a built-in automatic rifle and a grenade launcher.

  • Israel is the best

  • and the HK too...

  • I always thought that those extended 30+ round mags for handguns were pointless, but now I see that you pretty much have a semi-auto submachinegun with the cornershot and those extra rounds could be useful since I can't imagine how they would reload that thing.

  • The clip reloads like any other handgun; the grip is held in the device by the sides.

  • That's one creative tool.

  • Jews are famous for their creativity.

  • In the new movie Wanted that comes out next year, in the trailer it shows the use of an even short verison of the corner shot

  • Awesome gun! Is it possible for a civillian to get one of thouse? Becuase it might be cool to put a paintball pistol on it.

    Anyway nice video.

KnightChatX is an idiot for thinking these soldiers are slow. I think he has been playing too much Counter Strike.

  • No, you can't buy them, only counter-terror units can use it.

  • WOW.

i would get all messed up with aiming.

But if you get used to it it will for sure save some officers lifes

  • The corner Shot was Developed so specially in hostage situations, they would have time to think and analyze the situation, thanks to the camera on it. It's also very usefull in Street Fighting etc.

  • Way too slow. And they are just standing in the doorway too long and not moving.

  • Knight - get a life. It was just a demonstration for the press when the weapon was released. They were allowing the photographers time to set up shots, and follow them.

I'm sure you move much faster with your video games, right?

  • Cut video games some slack. Military folks play them too.

  • Hoo-ah! Heh ;-)

  • that weap is only good for rooms, but if we start using it in caves like hezbollah have, it won't be of much use...

  • israel 4 life

    golani is the best

ill be in that unit very soon.

  • ur special force u call "goolani" r running away like pussies thir shot in their back i seen them on tv bring it on

  • BULLSHIT.

    1. even hizoballah say golani is very good and they traind to be in the same level like golani.

2.golani is out "normal" unit. nothing spcieal. just great soliders. and the hizoballah said they are bery dangerus. abot normal unit ! which kick ass and killed 200 hizoballh terrorsits.

out spcieal force are the best in the world. out tzanhanim beat the usa marins. and the tzanhanim ar not elit unit, just spcieal unit. bring it on u idiot.

  • very nice gun hectic but i dont think it will work on a hezbollah soldier ha ha u hav the best weopons and u cant even use them go fuc ur selfs

  • Well seems after IDF fucked Hezbollah in BAALBEK, They'll be afraid of their own shadow now! That's what happen when small bad boys play with matches - They get burned!!

Another favorite quote - "If you go to sleep with a rocket don't wonder if you wake up with the ceiling on top of you"

  • hey make it go around all the corners and you can neckshoot yourself,,,

  • drzaiusman The only one that is ignorant is you. How do you know that the "civilians" are innocent or for that matter, how do you know they are if fact civilians since hezbollah does not wear uniforms and hides in civilians homes to launch their rockets.

You are blaming the wrong people for the killing since Hezbollah's stated goal is the Kill All the Jews

  • GOD BLESS THE ISRAELIS ....

    I AM NOT A JEW - WISH I WERE

FIGHTING TERROR ALONE IN A SEA OF BARBARIC MEDIEVALS.

  • I'm hoping your comment was sarcastic, because if it wasn't you need to make sure you never reproduce.

  • It was not sarcastic.

could you kindly explain why i shud not reproduce it ?

did i say the untruth ?

  • The Israli government is just as bad, if not even worse than their enemy. You want barbaric? Barbaric is launching missles into suburban communities where hundreds, even thousands of civilians live work and play. Barbaric is launching hellfire missles into marketplaces to do something a small special forces team or one single sniper could accomplish. Barbaric is knocking down houses and uprooting entire families. You want barbaric? Turn on your news and look at what is happening to Beruit.

  • Duh.

I would think that the real barbarian is the extremist who USES CIVILIANS as a shield. If he can put the life of

helpless mothers & infants above his own, then he must be killed like a dog on the street. THAT is barabarian to me. The IDF does not put infants on its tanks before marching, so that hezbollah do not fire at them.

    Think about it.

  • you will not convince this smelly raghead. They are so jealous and have a hard time living with the fact they are losers. They always need a scapegoat for their shortcomings. They are not only barbarians, they are big pussies.

  • All Israel needed was a SpecOps team and paitence to get what they wanted. Instead, they are killing hundreds of people and hardly accomplishing anything more than creating more problems. But I wouldn't expect ignorant people like yourself to understand.

  • All the tchnology in the world will not help, the more you agress people, the more hell you will recieve. Let me see how effective your gadgets are in the real warzone, where this room would have already blown up in your face and killed everybody with it.

  • it seemed to help with WWII so what are you talking about?

  • Nazis were not suicidal/homicidal sociopaths hell bent on reaching the 'holy land'. The same can not be said for the people that these Isarlis are facing.

As a soldier, I'd be far more terrified facing one religious extremist than I would be facing a group of genoicidal power hungry madmen.

  • Let me correct myself. Nazis were homicidal sociopaths, but they were no where near the league of religious extremists.

  • > As a soldier, I'd be far more terrified facing one

    > religious extremist than I would be facing a group of

    > genoicidal power hungry madmen.

Does not matter. As a soldier I am just supposed to do my duty. As for the religious extremists, they have been around for the past 1400 years ago. Its a siege mentality. There cannot be anything done about it. No

wonder there is only one "cult" that breeds them.

  • I suggest you do some research on cults and extremists. You're in for some surprises.

  • Israelis are terrorist they should use this weapon on therself

they have technology and make war against poor peoaple

they shall go to hell so

  • nice! now go kick some terrorist ass! Featured you on militaryfix.com

  • What a cool james-bond-kinda gadget.

  • Yeah I've seen this on National Geographics

  • love it

  • That's awesome.
