They use the same sensor. The older iPods would need the funky looking USB thing on the bottom of it. The only exception to the sensor would be the new iPod Nano (it has one built in).

Ps for all you chaps still not sure about this, remember if you put it in your Nike + the sensor waves still have to travel through your foot. Also if your still fretting, about the sensor slideing out (only if you do not lace up correctly) lace through the bag.

Thanks for this, the sensor only costs £14 (and the batterys not replaceable) and i don't want to have to buy Nike+ every 3 months so this works great for me. Got my 32 gb fully loaded so it's all go from here.

Well it's just I heard with the new ipod touch it has nike+ support or something, so you can track your progress on your ipod, unless you need the armband too :)

Oh, yeah, the ipod touch does have support for it..I got one and love it! You still need the sensor for the shoe and nike sells them for 20 bucks.

No, it just has a spot in the shoe for the sensor, you still have to buy it seperatly
