Hey Andy....what's ur opinon on propietory trading....didnt know what an unfair advantage they had...it sucks, in my opinion. Its an unfair playing ground for us traders.
been there done that with prop firms.............brutal experience, i almost had to quit trading......been so far successful trading my own capital rather than using leverage.
Prop firms and Big Bank? I don't like it. Private Prop Firms, who cares. Its a conflict of interest for GS to be a bank, sell MBS crap to the world, then have their Prop Desk Shorting the hell out of sub-prime for their own in house benefit. IS that ethical? Is tha a conflict of interest? Also Upgrades, Downgrades, etc - prop desks make a killing off going against that crap. What about all the upgrades last week!! Will those guys lose their jobs? prob not. Its how the Wall Street machine works.
Most of my profits today were longs, which is weird (especially with market down 200). SOMX, PARD, GORX, and GNVC were my winners. YRCW, which was a really dumb trade (don't ask me why I traded it.) was my only loser. Love your videos Steve and Andy ....Wish both of yah best of luck. Keep us updated!!
Hey Andy, I have to agree with these guys - please keep the videos coming, they are really helpful and I am so used to watching, that it's become a personal habit.
I would appreciate if you talked more about Price Action, if you could tell us what you are thinking and why when the price moves, what you look for etc. I am sure that over the years you had to develop a certain feeling for the price movement =) thanks, you have my full support
very good videos, and u see how the market can go wrong or right and wat actually happens in the market learn about potential real scenarios, not just wat the textbook chart patterns say should happen please keep going ! :)
When you're not in the middle of the trade, talk about your technical analysis. You know, like talk about the indicators you're using and the patterns you see.
i had a horrible time with covering my BAC shorts too early today. I had it short at 16.55 from yesterday and covered this morning at 16.35 and missed the whole puking out to 15.20'ish, i was so pissed. Then i got short again at 15.88 in the afternoon which was a PERFECT entry, but i covered at 15.70 when i thought it would hit that afternoon trendline and bounce back up. but it went to 15.40 instead, i missed .30 cents. Good entrys but really bad exits by me. What a bloodbath day

Are the HFTs biased? I would think that GS machines would not be super shorting their own stocks.

Andy,
Please keep up the videos.
Do not take trades for our sake.
Reviewing your trades is adequate.
We know you are legit.

This is awesome!!! Definitely keep it up.

That would be the most useful : )
