Clarence Thomas is one of the most stupid guys to be on the Supreme Court in at least 50 years, yet he wasn't filibustered. Alito and Roberts weren't filibustered , but Coulter loves to blow out crap to filibuster. Best can be said for her here is she isn't as batshit crazy wrong as she nearly always is/

Nothing gets filibustered since the "threat of a successful filibuster" accomplishes the goal. So when someone says something "was filibustered" they mean it was never voted on due to Senate filibuster rules.

Clarence Thomas struck me as being rather dumb during his confirmation hearing , been widely reported as being the only Justice not to question either counsel (Sign of being stupid) of during oral arguments in cases and doesn't author any substantive decisions. I would not say any of that about Scalia, who is an often wrong and arrogant but also a brilliant jack off. Happy, you conservatives?

Because it's not a racist statement. Everyone make decisions based on they're own life experiences. The reason we have more than one Supreme Court judge is because they each interpret the law. They read and apply the law differently because their life experience is different, they disagree on the law and the Constitution all the time.
