@ptmww3 The Veyron got beat, yes, but it was long till the Veyron SuperSport came out and took back title of fastest along with a lot more winning titles. Secondly, the Veyron and Veyron Supersport are like 3x heavier than the SSC. Third, the SSC was only designed to be used in a straight away to prove it's speed. The Bugatti Veyron managed to beat the GT-R (best suspension car in world) in corners, only thanks to it's suspension, acceleration and braking. SSC is just pure crap.

when M5board do these comparison tests, do they observe how much fuel is in each car? I mean in some instances a car may have only 10~20 litres aboard, the other might be near to full up. We don't see this and hence the power to weight ratio is perhaps not respected properly?? In practice it would be only fair if each car had almost the same fuel on board. Would be interesting to receive a response to this. Thx.

I own an AMG and noone can outshift the factory AMG programming in a straight line. . We have tried and tried with manual shifting it on the steering wheel....doesn't work. SLR guy should have just kept in auto shift. Would have been even better ass whooping in the 2nd race.
