I thought I saw a clip in this montage where in an episode of "The Odd Couple", Oscar (Jack Klugman) and Felix (Tony Randall) try and be contestants on the show. I've never seen it myself, but I've heard it's hilarious.
I don't know if they did a LMAD episode, but they did an episode on which Oscar (Jack Klugman) was one of the celebrity guests along with Betty White (playing herself, natch, along with host/hubby Allen Ludden), and Oscar was allowed to bring one guest to play with him. Felix was a big fan of the show, but he totally embarrassed himself when it was his turn.
"Now before we go off the air, for anyone who has any nails or screws in their pocket or purse, I will pay $50 per nail or screw up to a maximum of $500. While this gentleman by the aisle is looking, does anyone have an address book with more than 50 names in it. The first person to pull one out gets $100...."
Monty never seemed to want to stop dealing, even though the show was over. That was one of the many things that made LMAD entertaining.
Just wanted to make one correction to the existence of episodes. All but one or two of the original NBC run were destroyed. Most of the ABC daytime and nighttime runs were also destroyed, but the nighttime syndicated run (thanks to the prime time access rule's implementation in 1974) is still fully intact and that is what is currently running on GSN when they air the original LMAD.

I hear that CBS will air a new LMAD, replacing "Guiding Light.," with Wayne Brady.

My mom was on Let's make a Deal. Would have been in 1963 or 1964. I would love to know if that show still exists and where I can find it.
