  • Art is not only to be beautiful it must also depict a certain reality. It is a hard depressive life for the subjects of this painting.

  • never liked Barbizon school for some reasons. faceless protraits (save the brush works, lol). and u can't call it landscape. wonder why color is dark. depressing.
