  • blimey thats a lot of babies

  • WHY DID YOU SAY 3/4 GUINEA PIGS?

  • The baby guinea pigs look like Dwarf Hamsters

  • I got my guine pig when I was in third grade and right now he's 3 years old

  • She's stepping on her baby's!!

  • I want a guinea pig now im getting one in the summer this year it is2012

  • My guinea pig is going to have babies soon .

  • @DDbeautiful they CAN get pregnant at 8 weeks. They NEED to wait until they're 9 - 15 months old to avoid risking their health during pregnancy and birth.

  • my guinea pig was pregnant at 8 weeks so shut up

  • white piggy: I'm a dad! I'M A DAD!!!

congratulation :D even though its like 3 years ago. :/

  • How old do ginny pigs need to be to have babies

  • @spike478347 just 2 weeks

  • @DDbeautiful ùhm, NO! like, 9 moths to 15 months. Not over 15 months becouse their hips aren't flexibel enough any more and not before 9 months becouse their not fully grown until then.

  • is it okay to keep the male with female and babies?

  • @The8thChannel

No because the male can breed the female again or the male can skuish(if thts how u spell it) the babies and kill the babies, my guinea pigs had babies but i left the male inside and it killed it bso i learned from that mistake and now my babies r fine

  • @das9887 Babies aren't always safe from Mom either. My first guinea pig was bought from a pet store - and was pregnant. Nobody in my family knew that and assumed she was just getting fat from all the food we were giving her. Out pop 2 babies one night. The next morning, we looked at the cage and found the 2 babies - dead. Squished under their mother's weight.

For her part, despite the fact she was less than 12 weeks old, the mother was healthy and lived a full life without further births.

  • awww cuteee babies!!! xxx

  • When a female has its "pups" you are supposed to take the male out right when you find out shes preg. Bc he can stress her out and kill her..

  • there was 5

  • *GROWN

  • Lol when you were touching the father he's like stop stop stop IM A GRIWN MAN NOW STOP TOUCHING ME LOL XD

  • @moonstar1005 hahah!

  • eww theres blood

  • the daddy did a good job

  • omg I love the big black and white one.. SO COOT!

  • daddy very proud :))) sooo cute :DDDDD

  • I am surprised the babies are so developed at birth...! Full fur and even cleaning themselves x amazings little piglets xxx

  • lol that big white and black one is like ' DON'T TOUCH ME'

  • so cute

  • hi my pigs just gave birth yesterday so i have 6 baby's right now, i need to clean there cage is it okay put pick up the baby's and hold them to move them around.

  • thank you yeah the male has his own cage. she is only 5 1/2 weeks pregnant so hopefully buy the 9 week mark we will see some movement in the belly. thank you alot. did your female eat alot as well while she was pregnant because my two females are eating and drinking alot more then they have before. so this does help alot thank you.

  • okay so how would you know if the female is pregnant at what i have known my pigs are about 5 1/2 weeks pregnant they are due to have babies august 4th of next month.

their stomach is getting stiffer and more plump i feel lumps on each side of her stomach i check them every cleaning day to see how good they are coming along they look to be 5 1/2 weeks but can someone tell me how long they are pregnant for.

  • @pitbulllover45 Usually for about nine to ten weeks, but it can be shorter depending on the litter size. If she's drinking alot more, then that means that she'll give birth soon! Just remember to keep her away from the boar as he can get her pregnant again once she isn't pregnant. Also, baby boars can get the mother pregnant at 3 weeks, so it's a good idea to separate them from the mother as soon as their weaned.

Good luck and hope this helps! =D

  • @pitbulllover45 they r pregant for 10 wks

  • Awwwww soooooo cuteeeeeee!!!!!!!! But all that blood creeps me out... Yu better wash them and clean the cage! But anyways cuteeeeeee!!!!!!!!

  • The black and brown guinea pig looks just like 1 of mine!!! XD

  • How cute <3 I remember having my guinea pigs! 8D Lola and Pigglett had four babies, but unfortunately, Pigglett killed the two boys when they were born.... but we had wonderful years with them, and I really can't wait to get some more!

  • awwwww :)

  • HELP HERE! If i have a baby guinea pig, will it bite me? And if a have two boys, will they fight? PLEASE HELP ME!

  • @PigoPigy they meet bite u at first but then the get used to you..... Male might fight if they r older the best bet is the get them really young so that they will grow up together...i hope that helps

  • @PigoPigy The babies will not bite you, but they might nip at your fingers or accidentally scratch you. Male guinea pigs raised together from birth will not fight.

  • is it just me or the guine pigs on the side r dead plz reply

  • wow :) they are all cute! i wish mine will have too..i bought mine for 2 months already but for me its been a year cuz taking care of them is a tough job hehe but ilove them..its like they are my own :)..gratz!

  • my guinea pig has like.. 4 nipples at least.

  • hi i've got a question... actually two questions to b exact., if i'll buy two guinea pigs should i buy a male and a female?.. or 2 females? and if i buy let's say a 2yr. old guinea pig will it bite?.. please help... thnx..

  • @MsGothPixie get two girls or two boys. Two guinea pigs of the same gender can be kept together as cage mates- if they are of the same litter or are introduced when young. Any animal can bite, guinea pigs are normally gentle and rarely bite even if frightened. Regular handling and giving them food by hand will make a guinea pig tamier and less lightly to bite. By young pigs preferablly from a breeder who knows their animals - as older pigs may have unknown health problems.

  • @MrToiletface wtf!

  • @MrToiletface R U Joking! Cuz' thatz mean

  • @thoromicina2 You can get one of them neutered. Look for a specialist that has done a neutering before. Check guinealynx d o t com they have a forum with lots of info for medical related stuff.

  • @princessjks24

  • aaww so fluffy lol

  • eew

  • Should ibreed mine I need all of urs opinions give me the details is it to risky will she die im only 11 n I dont wanna cry n b all sad what do u think I need u guys opinions IS IT BAD????? TO RSKY????? THANKS 4 ur help !!!! Please respond

  • @urguineapigguide Do not breed your guinea pigs. For one, you have to know exactly what you are doing and can guarantee they will have permanent homes once they're old enough to leave the mother. Also there's so many in shelters because of people carelessly breeding their guinea pigs and having no room for them. Get your guinea pig a same sex friend and do not breed them. You are only 11 and do not present yourself very well. You breeding guinea pigs is a monumentally bad idea.

  • @cinder0001 I'm 12 and my guinea pig gave birth without a problem, and i found permanent homes for them. Don't judge on age, judge on the knowledge.

  • @horseracergirl Look at how they're coming across and acting. That's enough of a basis for me to think they're not capable of safely breeding animals. If you think that they should be breeding animals given on how they put themself across then maybe you shouldn't be either.

  • @cinder0001 oh shut up

  • @horseracergirl Amazing display of maturity. I'm done with this conversation, it's like conversing with a box of rocks. :/

  • @urguineapigguide Umm both bad and risky

  • Oh so cute XD! Thank you for sharing :)

  • the daddy isnt supposed to be around the babies when first born i thought?

  • @MissTalkativeRandom He isn't, the moment the baby's are born he mates with the mother again and she gets under a lot of stress from feeding one litter and carrying another o_o

  • awww!!!! <3 cuteness!!!!! XD

  • this is stupid the mother already killed some!!

  • aww the father is even helping :D

  • MY GUINEA PIG ABSOLUTELY THE SAME :D

  • is that blood?

  • @cocopuffsarecool Naaaaa

  • @MissBieberFeverr7 than what?

  • @cocopuffsarecool I'm being parthetic, yes it is blood what do you think it is?!

  • @MissBieberFeverr7 never mind

  • Aww x Cute! Lilly gave birth to two after a while we realised they were a boy and a girl! Lilly was still pregnant she gave birth to another 3 then buttercup (One of Lillys older babies) gave birth to 3 today!!!!!!! AHHH LOADS

  • @frehlybkdbread LMAO!!! I have two female guinea pigs named Buttercup and Lilly!!! They're my only girls. I've got two other boys, Pip and Lucky.

  • @Gunieapighelpful yes it has to have a male to have babies duh because can a woman have babies without a man NO!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????

  • Little baby was itching his face for the first time! X3

  • poor thing, i heard that when famales give birth to five very quick, they die, it that the

    truth?

  • Wow you can see the genetics at work.

  • That mom is sooo fluffy and adorable.

  • guinea pigs should have 10 nipples lol xD

  • AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

  • Baby guinea pigs are born able to eat whatever the mother eats- they're not gonna starve.

  • are cuinea pigs cryng or making lots of noise when they are giving birth?answer pls

  • do you have to seperate the male

  • 0:287 your guineapig attacks epilepsy!!!

  • lol yawn. haha i have a voice recording of my guinea pig oinking. Its hilarious! And I just recently found out that they live up to 8 years. Man, having Lucy that long and her passing away is gonna be horrible :(

  • cute but the blood NASTY!! but the rest cute

  • Hope theyre all good ?

  • @TheElephant79

Unfortunately, two of females lived for less than a year at a friend's house and died young. The others are still going strong.

  • @kermitrunner my gp gave birth and one of them broke their leg, his leg was like broken, and he tried to climb on top of her mom so when she move , he moved also but got pushed off and later he died :| whawhawhawhawha

  • Ahw! they are beautiful!!

  • eww aww lol

  • they are so active on the first day... :)

  • soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute

  • OK MY GUINEA PIG LOOKS ALOT LIKE THE MOM IN THIS WEN SHE HAD HER BABIES THEY DIDNT WALK OR STAND FOR A WHILE THEN SHE NEVER BREAST FED THEM WE HAD TO FEED THEM BY BOTTLE AND THEN THEY DIED OFF ANY IDEA WHY??

  • awsome

  • the guinea pig in the back round was so funny =)

  • were do they come out

  • They are cleaning them off! Guinea pigs should live in pairs or groups (females only) and they all help to clean the babies and warm them up .

  • @stephenie191 This isn't true!! Its not true that male guinea pigs can't live together. You can have two males together but I reccomend getting them when they're young ;)

PS I'm not a guinea pig geniuos person

  • @babymario523 PS you are.....;

  • @babymario523 yh if yhuu get them young and at the same time its alot easyier to keep 2 males together !

  • oh no! thats bad cause she will have to kill at least 2 or 3 babies she only has 2 nipples to feed off of....

  • No, you guys got it all wrong. Guinea pigs do not eat babies, the sow eats the placentas and cleans up the blood so that predators won't come. See video 4 and the links about placentophagy.

Also, two nipples were enough to feed the whole gang of 5, no problem.

  • @kermitrunner That's right, Kermit. Most sows have 3-5 babies in a litter, so they can manage.

  • @kermitrunner my pig got 4 babies in fevruary 2008, too and was a good mum, too... There weren't any problems. 2 of the babies are still in here. :D One died in an other family and the other one... well, I don't have contact to it.

  • @Alleykat13100

i honestly cannot belive how many ignorantt muppets put comments on here...lol.., ive bred and shown guinea pigs for 30 years, they do NOT eat their babies even if you handle them....FACT,,,,,they can feed all their babies from 1 to 8....babies take it in turns to feed...FACT...dont mind people asking questions if they dont know, but to spout ridiculous rubbish pisses me right off!!!...

  • @norrisval Hi. I need help from anybody I can get it from. Are you a guinea pig raiser? I have a male named Rufus, and I'm thinking of getting a female to start a family. Can you give me any pointers? How to introduce them, how long they have to be with the momma, what to look out for during birth, ect.?

  • @Alleykat13100 they sharew and sumtime u kan giv them a special formula

  • Uh, im pretty sure she is eating them, not because of the dack they are in, you can see her chownng down some babys

  • why is there blood?

  • its because of the sack that the babys are in or something but nothing to worry about thats perfectly natually

  • my guine pig is pregnantt tooo!!! =] they r due i think sometime in augustt. cuzzz we dont know when she go pregnant lol

  • Very cute! My female Clover is pregnant right now shes due anywhere from the 20th of this month to the first week in august.
