The US does not tolerate torture. Torture, by definition, must involve extreme pain or a genuine threat to the life or health of an individual. None of the interrogation techniques used by US entities in the middle east fall into this category. Simulated drowning, inducing fear, or depriving one of comfort are proper methods of interrogation and are responsible for saving countless lives. Let's hope our government has the brains to continue the policy.

This is the problem with introducing such cases into the criminal/civil justice system. They were war detainees, not crime suspects.

The US does not tolerate torture. Torture, by definition, must involve extreme pain or a genuine threat to the life or health of an individual. None of the interrogation techniques used by US entities in the middle east fall into this category. Simulated drowning, inducing fear, or depriving one of comfort are proper methods of interrogation and are responsible for saving countless lives. Let's hope our government has the brains to continue the policy.

They weren't a bunch of crime suspects and overzealous prosecutors trying to score a "win." The purpose was not to drive confessions; it was to obtain useful and accurate intelligence to be used in saving lives. This is the problem with introducing such cases into the criminal/civil justice system. They were war detainees, not crime suspects.

@81Natasa We are aware and as far as I know we are the only ones doing something about it through the tea party and Ron Paul. The whole world has been high jacked and yet again everyone wants to kick back and watch us clean up the mess. Only this time if we lose the whole world loses and you can just continue pointing the finger in our direction as they bust through your door and slap the slave status on you. Educate the people and pass the word instead of just trying to prove stupidity.

They create war for profit and they did 9/11 to us to invade middle east. 1999 weapons, were sent to both sides to maximize profit. @81Natasa I also need to add that one of the Bilderbergs befriended a man Aaron Russo who they tried to recruit and he refused. David Rockefeller Jr. was the recruiter. He was told before 9/11 that there was going to be an event. The goal was the middle east to include Iran, to build an oil pipe line and a target somewhere in South America. They also want the Sudan. Rockefeller laughed about us looking for enemies in caves and it will all be a fraud. So you see, we are a bit pissed.

If you are in France, and I believe you are, then a bit of research reviles the cancer began with YOU.
