@nafaidni Yeah sure. But liberals adhere to most of Hitler's philosophical elements though. Want proof? I have 20,000 words and 60 pages to back it up...
Yes, liberals would outlaw trade unions, demonize the Jews who are 66% liberal, kill homosexuals, declare war on every neighboring country, believe in white supremacy, advocate for the death of the weak (i.e. the poor) either through neglect or genocide, and treat communism as the common enemy.
@nafaidni Whether he consciously aware or not, a large portion of Hitler’s nationalist roots date back to the modern LIBERAL philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau and the Jacobins of the French Revolution, an event in history that attempted to overthrow the ancient concepts of Plato and Aristotle by replacing private property with the social “good” of the general will..it became disturbingly apparent that Hitler would have Germany embody the general will with his own “Triumph of the Will” in 1934.
@nafaidni The French Revolution's Declaration echoed Hitler's laws. Clause VI: “the law is the will of the community. All citizens have a right to concur, either personally, or by their representatives, in its formation. It should be the same to all, whether it protects or punishes." So citizens can concur, but not dissent from the general will.Clause X:“no man ought to be molested on account of his opinions, provided he avowal of them does not disturb the public order established by the law.”
@nafaidni Hitler was also in accordance with Rousseau b/c he disdained the bourgeoisie society of Europe (“bourgeoisie” refers to a class that was said to be overly focused on private property and self-interest while neglecting others).
And with regards to other “inferiors” and dissenters, the main difference between Hitler and Roebspierre was that Hitler did not use a guillotine against his enemies; he used gas chambers.
@nafaidni Hitler’s opposition to the Bolshevism of Russia wasn't b/c of a disagreement w/ ends. In terms of collectivism, Hitler and the Stalin were the same. they shared the same goal of creating a utopia for their nations.
In Germany and the Soviet Union, citizens were controlled by a singular party that successfully aimed to quelch dissent. Both desired to have their regime as the king. Because of this, it was inevitable for them to wage war; supreme power is reserved for one leader, not two.
@nafaidni “Stalin and Hitler were both anti-capitalists. Neither dictator accepted unrestricted economic individualism, the free market and the profit motive that defined capitalist systems. Both superseded the age of liberal or bourgeois economics with a new economic order.” (Overy 398-399). And, “while Hitler denounced Marxism, he also denounced capitalism… He was opposed to free markets. Nazis had embraced such anti-capitalist slogans as “break the bond of interest slavery,” (Powell 249).
@nafaidni "Hitler was big-business." FALSE: On January 19, 1933, the German social democratic magazine known as Vorwarts published a cartoon that reflected “the wide-spread misapprehension that Hitler was financed by German big business… The statement below the title, ‘Hitler dined with heavy industrialist Fritz Thyssen on Wednesday,’ was erroneous,” (Turner Jr. 66-67).
@nafaidni The myth of Hitler being Christian has been said by many in the past decades. But is founded upon political expediency more than his actual beliefs. Hitler was not an atheist, but he did have a religion that was forced upon the rest of Germany: the worship of himself. In the public's eyes, he loved an “Aryan” Jesus who fought the Jewish “brood of vipers,” an obvious distortion of biblical teachings. But In private, he considered himself greater than religion, and above Christ.
@nafaidni A major reason why Hitler was left is that his ultimate goal was for a utopian society. Conservatives as a whole don't believe a utopia will ever exist (on this earth). When the conservatives of the American Founding placed safeguards to subdue the worst of human nature, they acknowledged that the conflicts would always remain. Far-right anarchists demand the suspension of safeguards, they do so w/ the intent to eliminate government in its entirety, something the left would never do.
@nafaidni Those who demand drastic and immediate change with the exclusion of rigorous discussion are separate from conservative ideals, whether they acknowledge it or not (in other words, they're LIBERAL). Not only did National Socialism force monumental change with a complete lack of discretion, but they did so through the government to suppress freedom and blind the masses into following their Führer towards utopia, just as Russia had done under Stalin and the ideals of Marxism.
@nafaidni On Eugenics (a template for the Final Solution), it was a LIBERAL progressive who was one of its greatest supporters: Planned Parenthood's Margaret Sanger. And regardless of Sanger's defenders claiming she was not associated to scientific bigotry, it becomes increasingly difficult to hold such an opinion when it has been documented of said association, such as her contributing article to the March 1929 edition of the EUGENICS scientific journal.
@nafaidni On FDR, a liberal messiah, Adolf Hitler told a New York Times correspondent that he has “sympathy for Mr. [Franklin] Roosevelt because he marches straight forward his objectives over Congress, lobbies, and beauracracy.” He later described himself as the only European leader who expressed “understanding of the methods and motives of President Roosevelt,” (Woods 244).
Germany went to war against the US for global domination, but Hitler personally admired FDR.
@nafaidni And here's another reason: although he did not express this view to the public, it is “a matter of fact, that Hitler had more of an appreciation of Communists and even of certain Socialists than of capitalists,” (Lukacs 86).
I have to sleep now, but I can bring you more later or simply send you my entire thesis w/o having to dumb it down by limiting it to 400 characters for each post...

the thing is, everything said by McCain in this video are actually true.
Even though it doesn't show controversial policies from Paul and or positive things from McCains point of view there is very little exaggeration in this.

"Eliminating Osama Bin Laden. Training the Iraqis to run their own country. Stop the spread of Sectarian violence so that the Iraqis can have a real country. Just a few ways we can win a war on terror."
..yeah, because this is working out great so far...
VOTE RON PAUL! - McCain is a war hawk who uses fear to motivate; Romney flip-flops on EVERY issues & is the Bush family's handpicked boy; Huckabee is too religious (note the doctrine of the Church being separate from the State); Guiliani is a opportunist who's used his support of 9/11 to promote his campaign. How disgraceful.
Eliminating Osama Bin Laden. Training the Iraqis to run their own country. Stop the spread of Sectarian violence so that the Iraqis can have a real country. Just a few ways we can win a war on terror.
Pulling out of Iraq when the country is in utter shit, that's not going to help anyone.
and when was it my duty as an American to help the world? Those things you listed would not end the war. I think its fare to say they don't plan on leaving soon. Osama bin laden has nothing to do with Iraq (or had nothing) Remember they ran there country fine before we crashed the party. There is no point to a war against a form of fighting. We will be at war till we go broke.
It's not your duty, you just asked how we win. I told you.
Osama runs Al Qaeda which is still currently in Iraq.
And they ran the country fine? Tell that to all the Kurds that were killed for no reason other than their religion. Yea they were doing so great over there.
They were not in Iraq, until your nutjob President and asswipe Vice President decided, with a little help from their friends (wink wink), decided to go into Iraq, have our military killed for oil...good choice. I think I will vote for another moron named McCain....hahahahaha...not. No more nutjobs in the White house please.
the country is in worse shit than it was before we invaded their country. what we need is to read the constitution and enforce future Republican asswipes to do the same...thank you!
This video is by far the most accurate portrayal of the debates yet! To those of you who still take our rigged elections seriously, I'm sorry to say that pity is out of the question. You're worthy of little other than contempt.
Everyone that votes for any other candidate than RON PAUL should go right to the recruiter and sign their children up to go to Iraq, and does not have any right to cry about them coming home in a casket to parents that don't have a job and can't make their mortgage payment because their taxes have gone up to pay for this so called war on terror. Only people terrorizing is our government
Germany invaded Poland in order to reclaim Danzig after it was given to Poland in the Treaty of Versailles...That is why the "propaganda" posters read "Danzig ist Deutscher" meaning "Danzig is German Land" loosely translated.

Neutrality and Isolationism is what Ron Paul is for, you guys are idiots for supporting this nut... I wouldn't be surprised if his followers are the same bunch that believe bush did 9/11
i will take neutrality and isolationism over imperialism and fascism any day. although i think of kunich as a reasonable canidate, ron paul has certainly won my respect.
@Catalysis24 "Depopulation should be the highest priority of foreign policy towards the third world, because the US economy will require large and increasing amounts of minerals from abroad, especially from less developed countries.” -Henry Kissinger
Nationalism isn't significantly different from imperialism when you look at fascism. They simply view their nation as superior and see that all other nations sound be subjugate to their rule. It doesn't seem to be any different than what imperialists think.
Ron Paul is a non-interventionist. You take him to task for temporarily forgetting the name "Kurds" yet you don't understand the difference between isolationism and non-interventionism?
I don't think Bush was smart enough to have planned a 9/11 conspiracy theory. I still think the terrorists did it. Still, the terrorists were from Afghanistan and Saudia Arabia. We attacked Afghanistan (I agree with that). We attacked Iraq (I don't agree with that). Why didn't we attack Saudia Arabia if it was about terrorists?
because 1. the terrorists, though mostly from saudi arabia, planned the attack from bases in afghanistan/pakistan = al Qaeda (not the actual country) 2. it's much more powerful than nations like afgh/iraq.
"so what did iraq have to do with it?" you might ask. nothing.
When was it claimed that Iraq was related to 9/11? The main thing was getting WMDs, but now that we've destabilized the government we need to see it through.
Also, most of the Saudi members of Al Qaeda no longer live in Saudi Arabia, so attacking it would be kindof pointless.
Would you prefer America's international image to include wrecking a country's government and then leaving it in complete disarray? I'm not saying we forcefully "fix" the government in Iraq, but we need to support them while they get established.
And I actually support McCain over Huckabee. Thanks for the uninformed assumption though.
What government did we wreck ? Oh the murderous dictatorship. Regardless of what we have done nation building is not our citizens tax paying responsibility. Its a shame yes but we cant fix everything. hell the whole argument is null because we arent there to help anyone we are there for money. we arent going to HELP them get back on their feet we are going to install a western friendly gov. and that is not our place.
soo you're arguing that because what we "will do" is wrong, we should just get out anyway? how about we do what's right? ie help them create a government "of the people, by the people, for the people". people and nations alike are responsible for cleaning up their own messes. we made a nasty mess out of iraq; let's make sure it gets taken care of
Your statement would be true if life was so simple and people were so good but they are not. Besides assuming that "Democracy" can survive in middle eastern minds is folly. It is arrogant to assume that we can make what works for us work everywhere. Besides we dont even live in a democracy here. That idea stops at limited state gov. and perhaps not even that far.

Ron dosent even know who the kurds are... why should i take anything from him to be serious. probably cant tell the difference between a Shia and Sunni
Sure thing Intangible the difference between the Shia and Sunni is over who should of taken the heir to Muhammad after his death. Islam split between the two sects over a minor detail similar to the Roman and Orthadox split. and asking about the Kurds they are a ethnic group in Northern Iraq... they arent Arab....
Poor McCain.. so delusional these days. He said in an interview recently with Wolf Blitzer that it's safe to walk around in some parts of Baghdad and that Petraus drives around Baghdad in an unarmed Humvee... right...
Who ever you guys are I love your work! Great videos across the board. They are very amusing yet present hard facts at the same time a hard combination to produce. =)
McCain is so desperately marginalized he has actually resorted to parroting the Republican insinuation from 2004, likening John Kerry and the Democrats to the appeasers of Hitler. He needs to sit down, shut up and stop pretending that he still matters.
Has McCain forgotten that the sole purpose that we went to Iran was based upon a proven lie? What is he talking about? He's acting as if Iraq is a threat to us. Didn't we go over there to find WMDs and we discovered there were none? The Hitler parallelel IS totally distorted as Ron Paul responds.
I agree with more of a conversation type debate. 60 seconds is not enough time to spell out a position in any detail. Field is to crowded for that now. Perhaps once Tancredo, Hunter, McCain and Fred bow out. Their days and dollars are numbered.
Just like the CNN debate and all the press/media do not play the sheep take a stand and listen and find the right person then VOTE!!!!!. See my video on the media/press and the last YouTube debate, also I have asked all the poeple running for office about a real YouTube debate
Just stop state-sponsored "trade" on behalf of corporations. We fight wars and force trade for corporate interests. Government needs to get OUT of business. Make corporate charitable contributions public and open. Allow the people to decide where they want to shop. Don't allow federal food labeling limiting the information we are provided on the food we eat in defense of efficiency. No more government sleeping with corporations. This is what Ron Paul believes.
When is it better to get out than when signs are positive? It will help the Iraqi's continue the positive momentum and take their country back. It is much better leaving on a positive note leaving them with a good outlook than leaving on a bad note with a bad outlook into the future.
How is it unrealistic to come out of countries where they have no need for your troops when most other countries in the world don't have needless troops in other countries?
Some people are just idiots, I'm a libertarian.. I'll always be a libertarian, and if Ron Paul does not make it to the election I'll vote libertarian. He's not saying anything new... he's just the only one saying it.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Ron Paul has very good points on foreign policy.
But just starting another yeah that guy cult and not discusing anything for real doesn't solve problems.
btw Repuplicans and Democrats are crazy voting for them is choosing between crazy totalitarian regimes, it's not freedom,it's no good and it's not showing the will of the ppl.
man alive that is so true..... mccain needs to be confronted and told with a camera to his face that Dr. Paul is NO ISOLATIONIST....he is instead a non interventionist....unbelievable he had the gall to say that to ron
McCain is insane in his brain, he's not to blame, it's the gooks that put him on a chain for there gain and caused him so much pain, and now he is lame, what a shame...
In this video, McCain sounds like Obama today

VOTE RON PAUL! - McCain is a war hawk who uses fear to motivate; Romney flip-flops on EVERY issues & is the Bush family's handpicked boy; Huckabee is too religious (note the doctrine of the Church being separate from the State); Guiliani is a opportunist who's used his support of 9/11 to promote his campaign. How disgraceful.

Its not that we have to enter pre-emptive wars, its that now that we are in one, we shouldn't pull out...
(don't care if u agree or not, but thats just what McCain is saying...)

Eliminating Osama Bin Laden. Training the Iraqis to run their own country. Stop the spread of Sectarian violence so that the Iraqis can have a real country. Just a few ways we can win a war on terror.
Pulling out of Iraq when the country is in utter shit, that's not going to help anyone.
smurfettecumdumpster 4 years ago
and when was it my duty as an American to help the world? Those things you listed would not end the war. I think its fare to say they don't plan on leaving soon. Osama bin laden has nothing to do with Iraq (or had nothing) Remember they ran there country fine before we crashed the party. There is no point to a war against a form of fighting. We will be at war till we go broke.
chaserehn 4 years ago
It's not your duty, you just asked how we win. I told you.
Osama runs Al Qaeda which is still currently in Iraq.
And they ran the country fine? Tell that to all the Kurds that were killed for no reason other than their religion. Yea they were doing so great over there.
smurfettecumdumpster 4 years ago
They were not in Iraq, until your nutjob President and asswipe Vice President decided, with a little help from their friends (wink wink), decided to go into Iraq, have our military killed for oil...good choice. I think I will vote for another moron named McCain....hahahahaha...not. No more nutjobs in the White house please.

the country is in worse shit than it was before we invaded their country. what we need is to read the constitution and enforce future Republican asswipes to do the same...thank you!

Or do you? ;-)
Neutrality, yes. As the founders encouraged.

Why didn't we attack Saudia Arabia if it was about terrorists?
kushaze 4 years ago
because 1. the terrorists, though mostly from saudi arabia, planned the attack from bases in afghanistan/pakistan = al Qaeda (not the actual country) 2. it's much more powerful than nations like afgh/iraq.
"so what did iraq have to do with it?" you might ask. nothing.
thx for your attention
RON PAUL 2008
pwnttothemax 4 years ago 3
When was it claimed that Iraq was related to 9/11? The main thing was getting WMDs, but now that we've destabilized the government we need to see it through.
Also, most of the Saudi members of Al Qaeda no longer live in Saudi Arabia, so attacking it would be kindof pointless.

O we broke now we have to fix it? Lol! Ok huckleberry.
bgabbs69 4 years ago
Would you prefer America's international image to include wrecking a country's government and then leaving it in complete disarray? I'm not saying we forcefully "fix" the government in Iraq, but we need to support them while they get established.
And I actually support McCain over Huckabee. Thanks for the uninformed assumption though.
rostu23 4 years ago
Lol! No problem
bgabbs69 4 years ago
What government did we wreck ? Oh the murderous dictatorship. Regardless of what we have done nation building is not our citizens tax paying responsibility. Its a shame yes but we cant fix everything. hell the whole argument is null because we arent there to help anyone we are there for money. we arent going to HELP them get back on their feet we are going to install a western friendly gov. and that is not our place.
hatchls1 4 years ago
soo you're arguing that because what we "will do" is wrong, we should just get out anyway? how about we do what's right? ie help them create a government "of the people, by the people, for the people". people and nations alike are responsible for cleaning up their own messes. we made a nasty mess out of iraq; let's make sure it gets taken care of
rostu23 4 years ago
Your statement would be true if life was so simple and people were so good but they are not. Besides assuming that "Democracy" can survive in middle eastern minds is folly. It is arrogant to assume that we can make what works for us work everywhere. Besides we dont even live in a democracy here. That idea stops at limited state gov. and perhaps not even that far.
