To improve the video length time, go to video settings! Easy!

Oh, yeah, I forgot. To do the jump thing, I think you need the deep well in the sims 3 WA. Just type in the cheat box: testingcheatsenabled true then enter, next type in buydebug on. Go to buy mode then click on the '?'. After that, buy the well. Click on it to make your sim jump on it, when they are in position, move your sim to the side of the lake and then they'll jump.
