This reminds me of my last deployment to Afghanistan, it was soo hellish, sometimes we had up to 3 firefights a week! Smells like shit in the cities, wild dogs everywhere, not taking showers for days at a time, over 90 degrees in the daytime, and 40 at night.........ughh...........g­lad to be home!

As an Army Medic i have am obligated to tell you from my experience that what ever comparison you make to actual combat, from a video game perspective is never going to come close to the real thing. The adrenaline, fear, and elation all come at one moment. One doesnt have time to think about "should i tomahawk him, or just put a noob tube down range?" you react. Do not make light of War, it is a nightmare and will haunt you. Plato once said "Only the dead have seen the end of war." Its true.

To the guy below me, right on. It's called suppressing fire, so that the enemy can't move freely and leave their cover without putting their lives at great risk. This buys our guys time to get into position or call in an air strike, etc. Unlike COD where your character's life doesn't hold any value and there is little to no concept of suppressing fire, there is in real life.

I think this is more likely to be a "live fire demonstration" than ACTUAL combat footage :)

and its hardly combat when you have 20 guys shooting at one guy, who is already 6 miles away and still fleeing for his life . . . . .:P
