??? When was this incident? i was swimming in the beach of manzanillo Mexico and i noticed a huge croc near by, it had escaped from a near by park for tourist but this happened like back in 2004

@coldbloodedsam Incorrect. Alligator was endangered, now listed as threatened but have made a great recovery. The crocodiles in Florida are listed as endangered but are making a comeback with sightings as far north as Naples on the gulf coast & West Palm Beach on the Atlantic.

I eat gator, prefer the backstrap. Crocs I'd rather leave alone until their numbers recover. If they can be farm-raised I might try it but doubt having it on the table much. I enjoy observing them in the wilds far more.
