I lived in Gladstone 30 years ago--classmate from high school there jumped off of these very rocks and became a quadrapalegic...It isn't safe, or without serious risk...there are submerged rocks waiting there to ruin your life forever

Yeah the water tower? You mean the pump house down by Portland AVE? you would be pretty stupid to jump off of that, seeing that there is a huge undercurrent there for one and for 2 that shit gets shallow over there. I remember the first time I jumped off high rocks I was holding my best friends hand scared to shit then we jumped and laughed our asses off realized there wasnt anything to be scared of!
Do people still jump off that bridge? When I was growing up, my mom used to take me to HighRocks, where I remember watching this one crazy MoeFoe climb up to the very top and do backflips........I remember we met him, and he told us he was a gymnast or professional diver or something like that. That was nuts. I don't remember how high it was since i was a little kid, but I remember that guy drew quite a crowd when he would get up on the very top and strike a pose before jumping. Beauty........
cool story and yes lol u can still jump off the bridge if u can climb the barbwire fence they put up also theres on duty lifegaurds now i fucked myself up pretty bad climbing that fence infact i have permanent scars from climbing it with a broken arm in a cast i jump off fine but scratched myself pretty goom on my stomache and arms....lol i miss highrocks i live in texas now i cant wait till june 09 im goin fishin up there at high rocks lol,
@toddfuknturner just jumped off the bridge yesterday! u know u can go around the fence by were the park/grassy area is right! then u have to walk across the piping or w/e that shit is. its really scary but i made it and dont think i will be trying it again. one slip up and your done for.

yah i love oregon its so gorgious there and i love to fish and as u may know theres gr8 spots to fish in oregon anyhow keep in touch if you want ill add ya and yah im a pretty hard core guy especially after a few beers lol
