  • Song @ end?

  • does anyone still actually use the ps/2 connector?

  • Is gigabyte the only company smart enough to make a Z series mobo with ONLY an HDMI connector on the i/o as to not take up 8 usb ports worth of space?

  • ASUS P8Z68-V Gen3 Motherboard

    which is better :O

  • this has all the connections that i need :)

  • ok thats it im going to get one lol

  • please i want buy this but he great ??? or not

  • are the 2 cables in the box sata III 6 gb/s cables or just sata II ?

  • @TwoPlusFourIsSe7en they are both the same, sata II cables and sata III cables are the same :)

  • I know it will work for the i7 2600k but will it work for the 2700k?

  • @MrSenseiYamada of course...

  • @MrSenseiYamada noob

  • do you think this is decent for a gaming computer

  • @rickfish12 no noob

  • @pedro8991 just trying to get a insight to what i should buy no need to be a dickhead

  • Great review! : )

  • @clintdiamante99 Thanks!

  • Plan on using this mobo in a black/white themed 600t SE build

  • I dislike this mobo cos of the PCI 16 and PCI 8 config. The fact that the PCI16 shares the bus with the PCI8, lowering it to PCI 16... :'(

  • On newegg there are some reviews of power cycles ect, is that true? or is yours working perfectly fine? thanks!!

  • @RHossall So far it is working fine (I am using the latest beta bios - F5B I think)

  • @scooter99tube Ok thanks man, I do seem to think though that most motherboards are rated 4 stars on newegg, i think thats mainly because alot of people only post a review if something goes bad, through googling and finding other, very detailed reviews, it seems a pretty nice board :)

  • do this support AMD?

  • do you know if this board is supported by hackintoshes??

  • @TwoPlusFourIsSe7en I'm not sure - I haven't tried it - Have you tried GA-Z68XP-UD4 + hackintosh in google? - Seems to be a few results there....

  • @TwoPlusFourIsSe7en Yes it is, there's a confirmed DSDT if you use Tonymacx86's method

  • You're correct the Z68X-UD4-B3 is the same exact board without the 1 x HDMI port, supporting a maximum resolution of 1920x1200.

  • @muffemod Yeah - That's what I thought - this board (the Z68XP) was for sale this week for $25 off of the reg price so that would probably negate any saving on the board without HDMI anyhow - more ports never hurts for future uses (ie HTPC use without a discrete video card).

  • @scooter99tube Torn between the two. I can scoop them both up for good deals.
