Can anybody explain why they focused the ret there? I run 2s all the time with a frost mage (myself being a rogue) and against this comp I've always done a CC ret, burst DK approach.

My reasoning is that the ret has better survability than a DK (non blood anyway) and that the DK will give the mage hell if left to his own devices. I feel like if we just get the DK out of the way quickly the ret will be cake.

Anybody have any input on why they went ret here?

Well the DK can AMS, which is a pain as you have to waste cd's on it. I guess if you make the ret bubble early he will become less of a thread as Cartoonz can simply steal wings. But eh, i'm new to WoW, that was just my thoughts :P

Merc you should so try my macro :) you'll need the vicious or Ruthless sword though Stealth Cheapshot / Equip Sword/ shadow dance/ pvp trinket/ ambush spam :) most of people I use on go to 40-30k :)

@Fede2094 id be surprised if merc was even able to win 1 out of 3 duels against cartoonz. in a dueling setting the frost mage always has such a ridiculous advantage. this isnt necessarily the case in arenas when a rogue and frost mage are the last standing but i'd be surprised to see merc do well against a frost mage as good as cartoonz in duels
