@classicmusic4718 the guy who is putting up the auctions are trying to transfer the items to other faction - hence he put up expensive items cheap like 34 coppers - then you put it up on your own factions auction house for its original price - lets say 2 gold , and you'll make profit

and another trick to avoid such stuff : post some cheap 330g item first to see if any bot or anyone intercepts it, and if it does then try later when the poor boys will be in bed, whatever that time is...

Tip for anyone wanting to transfer stuff and avoid scamming toerags such as this chap. Do the transfers in winterspring/tanaris using an alt, but not until you assassinated the auctioneers in Booty Bay with main. That gives roughly a 5 minute window to log to the trading toon and complete the transaction without interference. It may be worth parking another char at unused AH to kill those auctioneers too for safety. They can't buy off a dead guy :)

I once laughed at someone's face when they intercepted for 4k of my mats, back in the Wotlk era, then I had to explain to the random guy I hired on the spot, as I always do, that I didn't actually give a fuck, that it was just part of the job sometimes, and paid him 500g as usual... love the BB kill thing though...

ok to the people who do not understand. lets say i got a really good sword on my alliance character but i want my horde character to have it, i put the sword on the neutral ah intending to buy it from my horde character for cheap price so i dont lose money, but he buys it on his own character before i can buy it on my horde character, therefore i lost the sword for little money, and then he sells it for more.

@electroma5 you focus the player to see their target so you can see when they are at the auctioneer. whenever they are targeting the auctioneer they are probably putting something up on the AH at an extremely low price so they can transfer the item from horde to ally. its stupid to transfer items but people will always do it so its a pretty good way to make a little gold

1. to transfer stuff from their ally toon to their horde toon

2. you gotta target the low lvls (around lvl 1) because this means that they're are here to buy stuff from their ally toon, and for a very low amount of money

3. if they see you, they will hurry so you dont steal their auctions
