@MH3Gurthang No, and there are 3 factors: 1. Breath Core has higher raw 2. Breath Core has way longer green sharpness (even if you're superpounding the sharpness will still decrease faster from hitting the chin) 3. The difference of their element damage is... 210 water vs 0.4 water modifier for the chin which would be 84 and 280 dragon vs 0.3 dragon modifier which also is 84 actually so they're equal in elemental damage but given the other points Breath Core wins by a landslide.

so it counts for the second hit!

i was lucky with breaking the chin. he did the huge chin attack right on a huge fire stone in area 6. it was broken immediately

It's impossible to get all the breaks of Uragaan. Capcom should fix that by making a new weapon. I think it would be awesome for them to make a weapon that's maybe half hammer half great sword.

All I did was sell my useless alatreon scutes that I had racked up from some long and painful farming for azure dragongems. I think each scute is 5,830z, and they really have no use, so there's no harm in selling them!

In the recordscreen for the monsters lenght I've suddenly got a golden crown beside the numbers. I guessed that means that I've killed a really big/small one, but does it favor me in any way other than braggs?

@MrJeppo96 It's a rustshard hammer. You have to find a rustshard from mining in the volcano or from quest rewards to make it.

@SocialDissonance Mini whet stones actually will give you max sharpness as long as the max is in the green somewhere. but thats it.

@eldest91 Mini whetstones restore a set amount of bars. I believe it's something like 20 bars, so 100 hits. Whetstones restore 40 bars, so 200 hits. Could be off by the numbers, but that's how it works.

@SocialDissonance Ah ok. I only noticed because whenever I was using a green sharpness weapon I would always get max sharpness with a mini whet stone so yea. That could just be my fault lol.

@GDorofu i was wondering too! ura needs a 150 poison dmg to be poisoned, so either the items become more effektiv from 50 dmg to 75 or it lowers the defense from 150 to 100...

he recovers 10 poison dmg every 10 seconds...

@narutofan00 Depends on what you mean by beat. If you mean finish offline it's not too long. If you mean kill the last urgent it's about 200ish. If it's to get everything and get hr999 blah it's OVER 9,000 hours. I'm at 500 and I still have tons of work to be done! (Deviljho gem number 11, why are you so cruel to me!!??)

@5k4k1dhtp I believe so; I had critical draw and it flashed on both hits. I believe my weapon had 0% affinity, so o think so. Fun fact: the first hit of the superpound does no KO damage, which is why Punishing Draw is actually good with hammers!

most fun ive had with uragaan is superpounding the mini one online with the breaths core hammer - you hit everything in one hit =P

dude the 4 star places for the boats are not just for the trading commodities if you send them 4 star fishing they will bring rare fish once i got a small golden fish from a 4 star fishing and i got like 3 golden eggs from the 4 stars treasuere hunting

I would imagine that the bombs still did damage near the beginning of the video. If you can flinch him out of a roll with a weapon, then I don't know why bombs would be nullified.

@narutofan00 hmmmm that's a hard question cus like you see our lovely socialdissonance takes his time and kills every monster 324234 times in order to get good armor and weapons (the main point in this game from my point of view) wich will help him fight harder monsters and stuff

you can beat this game in a day if you dont do that and just try and kill every monster with weak weapons, its possible but hard and acually no fun cus then there is not point in playing

A note on your poison application in this video. An exhausted monster has a reduced tolerance to other status effects. I'm not sure on the exact % as I can't find any confirmation online though I'd estimate it at about 25-30%.

Just a note about your poison application in this video. Exhausted monsters have a reduced tolerance to other statuses so they're easier to put to sleep, paralyze, or poison.

Ahh, the hammer on Ura. IMO, best monster to use a hammer on next to rathian. Online, if you're good, you can pull off maybe 4 KOs, which can speed up the kills a lot.
