i have a 2007 ZX6R and i find it very difficult to wheelie, im not good with clutching up and i believe I did it wrong and snapped 2 teeth off the rear sprocket. any advice for getting a better handle on wheelies ?? thanks

Guys from Suzuki have such nice graphs for the bike and this guy thinks this buggy green its a nice color! Let me tell one thing, suzukis are blue, kawazakis are green, hondas are red/orange and BMW are black/blue/white. Thats is the culture and the way the look better!

Totally agree with your comment, an inch at a time, if you do that you won't have many crashes, i decked it so many times doing crazy shit spur of the moment, its only after crashing while showing off doing a wheelie did i remember.. i can't wheelie.. but after that, practice and get confident, one inch at a time and you'll be balancing them in no time

I had an 05 GSXR600 and I can say it was one of the best bikes ive ever tried to wheelie! It had a huge balance point and was just easy to bring up with NO clutch btw. 85mph in 3rd....bounce it up (stand up) and ride it!!! Level out around 105mph

@ThriftyCougar depends on the bike you ride... more weight or less power the more clutch vs revs you have to give... with a powerful bike... just twist the grip and up u go

@ThriftyCougar Id recommend a smaller bike to be honest for your first bike. You get to learn about your own skill. You can still wheelie a 125cc.. you just have to rev hard and pull up. I started out on a 250cc... and could wheelie on that.

But then Ive got a friend who started out on a r1 and was OK... depends on how aggressive you are

Its all about choice to be honest. Depends on what type of riding you want to do.

If like me you like fun, wheelies and speed. Id suggest a sportbike. Being that you rode dirtbikes, you should be good with control. What bike are you looking to get?

nice, I crashed after 2 months of practice, it took me about 5 months to get up like that...i was riding an 01 honda cbr 600f4i....i was poppin the clutch and my boi told me about power wheelies so i got the new chain and sprocket set w/new back tire and power wheelies worked better for me than poppin the clutch.

nice bike ive got a custom painted bike my self but had it done at a shop. props for self painting looks good. and good wheelies. im on a 03 R1 so i use my pegs i dont get back on the bitch pegs but thats cause i got enough nuts in the bike to just twist and it comes up lol but good wheelies again not dissing the rear peg wheelies. just a diff stance then me.

Thanks man...Yea the vid is only 3 min long, I dunno why it came up 5:48 its blank after first 3 min...if you pause it and let it load all the way then play it and it won't be breaking up...Anyways 2nd gear clutch ups around 5,000 rpms 35mph standing up..left foot on passenger peg and right on the rear break (just in case I pull a 12 oclock ;)

Nice fucking wheelies dood ! Much improvement. Sounds like your clutching it ? 1st or 2nd ? speed ? Do you know what rpm's your at when you bump it ? Just an idea, the video kept loading for me, if ya crop it when your away from the camera it could make it shorter and help the loading. Keep the wheelies going !
