  • why is ur quadrant so slow?... my htc sensation xe gets 2500-3010 on quadrant standard

  • my LG Optimus 3d got 58fps on nenamark1

  • Getting this awesome phone soon! :)

  • Got 2791 on stock G2x with gingerbread update!

  • galaxy s2 overclocked at 1.6 scores 7300 baby no match u htc sensation

  • @indika1191 ever heard of stagefright? thats the biggest hack ever,,, quadrant gives a lot of points for i/o and its easy to hack so thats fake, i overclock my phone to 1.7 ghz with stagefright, damn i crush your score

  • antutu i got about 4400

  • I once got a 2361 quadrant on the htc sensation, im going to do it again n upload a video

  • The Inspire 4G (single core) got a 58.7

  • Where'd you get the wallpaper?

  • I'm not sure if it's true but I've heard that on the SGS2 both cores run at the same time constantly as oppose to thie sensation who runs both cores only if needed ( like 1080p video recording I'm guessing).

  • I just purchased the phone 2day bro! I definitely recommend it.

  • whtas the decibel level?

I notice older phones like the Cliq are extremely loud as hell.

  • isnt the G2x T-Mobiles first dual core smartphone?

  • wow my vibrant did way better in tests than this thing. glad i am waiting for the hurcules

  • HTC does make some nice phones, but i don understand why they dont use better screens...

  • @badenielsen what? a Qhd display which is used on the sensation is a lot better then most other high end smart phones. it is 960x540 and a average smartphone would have a screen with 800x480

  • damn my g2x got a 5193 on quadrant !!!

  • @Hoezak rom, kernel, clock and proof, thx! :)

  • G2x is better for xda support and is a faster phone but the sensation has better build quality

  • @MrStangerbanger no, HTC phones have always been the best for XDA.

  • @CityFlashLights I would have to agree i have owned every HTC android phone made but there is way more roms for the g2x ...

Also there is a lot more support and guys making roms for the phone ..

The sensation comes with locked boot loader and is going to suck to root

  • @MrStangerbanger no, there will be an update for the sensation to unlock the bootloader. htc said they would not lock any more bootloaders.

  • I think this just proves that smart bench is shit. Its like one of the only benchmarks that the galaxy s 2 does worse than the tegra two phones in gaming, which is rubbish.

Now the sensation scores that?! There is seriously something wrong with smartbench.

  • The reason the snapdragon dual core scores lower than NVIDIA and Exynos is because the snapdragon is able to run each core at the needed speed rather than the other two processors that are always at full speed.

  • The reason that the HD2 was scored so high is because it was overclocked to 1.5GHz during those tests, it just didn't show the CPU clock when you did it.

  • I like the phone but not really impressed with benchmarks, but anyway, how do you like it compared to let say G2X in real world browsing etc.

  • oyea BlackPrince making new videos

  • Do you like the display is it better then an ammoled screen. The screen is it really scratch prof?

  • @polaricebear80 Generally I prefer Super Amoled to SLCD. However, I actually prefer this qHD SLCD to the WVGA Super Amoled on my Nexus S. You see so much more on the screen at once time and text is way clearer/sharper. If HTC could get some qHD Super Amoled Plus screens it would be a match made in heaven!

  • FYI, 960x540 is 1.35 times the amount of pixels of 800x480... So if you multiply the Sensation's GPU scores by 1.35 you should get roughly comparable results.

  • @eggroll9000 Explain why the Atrix scores the same, if not higher, than the G2x/Optimus 2X in Benchmarks.

  • @BlackPrince310 Does it? In graphics benchmarks? lol I dunno... maybe fixed resolution?

  • @BlackPrince310 Diffrent CPU's .. So far I've understood it, the Sensations CPU load for one program can't be 100% as it's always storing some speed for programs in the background.

  • I'd love to see what adjustments you could make to improve RAM on the sensation

  • so is that your new personal phone or are you staying with the other

  • you still have the g2x how did that do on benchmarks?

  • HTC sensation 4g! FTW!!!

  • That phone is nice looking but as far as speed goes my G2X blows it out of the water. Is it that bit of difference running stock compared to sense?

  • @polaricebear80 Sense has a lot more stuff pre-installed. Stock Android is a clean slate out of the box. Keep in mind that the G2x's animation speeds are sped up a lot on purpose to make the phone feel faster. That's why when you click on stuff, like the app drawer for example, it comes up like its on crack. It's not the hardware thats making everything come up so fast.

  • Samsung Galaxy S II > T-Mobile G2x > HTC Sensation

  • @Snowintosh sgs2 is ugly

  • @Calibrisies But it's the thinnest smartphone and it's just better.

  • @Snowintosh Yeah i know. Its one of the fastest and best phone out there, i wont argue with you on that but the whole thing is just ugly.

  • @Calibrisies

    hmm just like u then...

  • Comment removed

  • And I dont care too much for benchmarks either, but what I did notice is that HTC sense 3.0 is really heavy and sometime this phone does seem to stutter a bit.

  • Wish they would make these tests compatible with multiple cores.

  • @MacaronyAlan Well 480p to 1080p is a MUCH higher jump than WVGA to qHD.

  • Linpark huh? :P

  • blackprince310 what up man, so htc sensation or G2x?

  • @boomercoco1 G2x for Stock Android, Sensation for build quality and Sense.
