A female sheep is a ewes and the males sheep are called rams. And if you haven't already figured it out...the pronunciation of he word "ewe" sounds a lot like the pronunciation of the word "you".

I'm sure you realise the play on words and why the word "ewe" was chosen over "you". I no how to spell! hahaha! (another play on words...just in case you didn't get that either)
