I hate how people stereotype us shia muslims. We do not hit ourselves until we bleed! That is just some people. And they should not put it upon our names. Ahlul-bayt never wanted us to hurt ourselves. Instead here in Denmark when Muharram (ashura) comes we donate blood to hospitals. Salam Brother/Sister, it sounds like you believe in predestination, When Allah (swt) says in the Quran that He guides Whom He will, that doesn't mean he picks out people for heaven and hell, but it means that Nooredeen, or light of Truth is brought down by Allah(swt) and it is up to the Servents of God (swt) to choose what Religion they want. Every human being has the oppurtunity to become Muslim.
