I want to also mention, that I am not a post triber, or a mid, or a pre. I have circled them all numerous times and find there to be arguments, though some more than others, for all of them. Im really not sure it matters, God is still God, whether we die during the tribulation, or are lifted up with him before it. Circumstance doesn't change who he is. I would note though, that because we have no assurance, according even to Jesus, when the day actually is. To prepare none the less. Be diligent.

I appreciate your thoughts. I'm curious what you do with Matt 24 though. Jesus is talking to his disciples, speaking as if they, or in turn believers are apart of it. Saying even in verse 22, that those days, the trib, will be shortened for the sake of the elect. Notice Jesus saying that in those days, never has there been or never will there be a greater distress. Continuing on, he says in verse 29, Immediately after the distress of those days, " verse 31, using the same word "gather"

@nitdiver5 Daniel 8:7 I saw it attack the ram furiously, striking the ram and shattering its two horns. The ram was powerless to stand against it; the goat knocked it to the ground and trampled on it, and none could rescue the ram from its power.

A few months later Saddam was trampled on as he lay hidden underground to evade capture. US soliders actually walked over him trampling on him literally during operation red daw.

@asloudassound: The last trump is not the trump in Rev. Isaiah 26:19-21 clearly says where we are. The rooms mentioned there are the same ones Jesus mentions in John 14:1-3. Satan is an imitator. If there weren't a real Rapture he would not need to create lies about one. The Time of Jacobs Trouble, i.e. the last week of Daniels years is for the salvation of the Jewish nation. God erect 144,000 witnesses in Rev 6 because the church is not here. 1 Thess 5:3 sudden destruction comes upon "them"...

@shawnsent I believe the Pre-trib. rapture is false as well but that scripture was referring to a 7th trumpet. Your forgetting that Pre-trib ideology believes in essentially 3 raptures. 1 for the believers, 2nd for newly converted believers and 3rd is gathering them for millennium (i think). The Pre-tribulation is most likely false but it is not un-biblical and shouldn't be ruled out. I also believe teaching a pre-trib rapture is wrong when it could be false.

Jesus said, No servant is greater than the master, if they persecute me they will persecute you also. So basically, rapture of the church will happen at the 14th judgement, thats after the persecution of the church, about 6/7 th of the Saints will be already dead at this time. believe what you want to believe my friend, but I can certainly tell you that you will fall away from the faith when the rapture does not happen before the time frame you have set. Jesus also said, no servant is greater than the master, if they persecute me they will persecute you also.

Saint Paul gave us a clue of this when he said "I tell you a mystery,in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. Do you see the word LAST TRUMPET? what do you think this is referring to? here is a clue, But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.

when Jesus opens the 5th seal, some of the Saints will be tested for 10 days and put to death. Remember, there are 7 seals on the scroll. after the scroll judgement, there is 7 trumpet judgement and when the 7th angel which is the last angel to blow the trumpet is when the rapture of the church will happen according to the scripture. believe not in my words but believe the words of your bible

Luckily for the people all of our politicians will still be here to guide them :-) Just a point for clarification, but no one is good. God says our best deeds are as filthy rags. It's only Christ's sacrifice that makes us acceptable into God's presence.

Worldwide destruction requires something massive. Many university professors and geo scientists state that pole shift has occurred before. Some also state that geographical pole shifts occurred.

You make an excellent, very astute, point about the calendar the west uses today. There is more to that line of thinking! For example 12/21/2012 could be non-event.

However, since the Tribulation is marked by 360 day years I have wondered if the earth's rotation will change. According to Chuck Missler all calendars prior to 701BC were 360 day years.

@radiospirit: Enoch, Lot, and John are types for the Rapture. Despite how you feel I will stick to what the Bible the teaches. The Tribulation is Gods wrath to try to get people to repent. There would be no benefit to sending believers into the Tribulation. Because the believers are taken out of the world God opens the eyes of the 144,000 Jews so they can be a witness during this time.

@Turbowave: in Zechariah 1:12 the word 'indignation' is used. It is also used in Isaiah 26:19-21 letting us know it is one and the same event. Isaiah 26:19-21 is a very clear description of a pre-trib rapture. The rooms or chambers mentioned here are the same ones Christ mentions in John 14:1-3. No, I'm not on Facebook. It was funded by the CIA. When we go to martial law they will have automatic profiles on evryone.

@Turbowave: A generation is 70 years according to Psalm 90:10. Also we are told specifically that Gods anger at Israel ends after 70 years in Zechariah 1:12. This verse in Zechariah is a parallel to what the prophet Jeremiah said about Jerusalem and noted by Daniel in 9:2. Almost all (if not all) stories in the Bible relate to the end time either literally, prophetically, or spiritually. So May 14, 1948 + 70 = 2018 minus 7 for the Tribulation and you are at 2011.

@Turbowave: I can try to explain here, but if you watch my video titled May 14, 1948 I go into detail where we are on God's clock. Basically May 14, 1948 started a 70 year countdown, 1 generation, to the literal return of Christ. Isaiah 66:8 was fulfilled on May 14, 1948. I can't tell you when the Rapture will take place, only that it comes before the Tribulation, but the Tribulation starts in 2011.
