@pbenna I remember watching that game on TV - it was sort of surreal with the heavy fog and with players coming in and out of view thru the fog - the broadcast was in color of course but it almost looked like a black and white broadcast

funnest game i ever played in high school was a game we lost 14-0 but it was a mud bowl game in a typhoon straight down pour throught the whole game. Probably had 4-5 inches of rain during that game and the middle of the field had no grass so it was straight mud and puddles everywhere. nowadays even all the high schools have those turf fields so you just don't see that anymore.

You could hardly make out the Tampa jerseys cause they were white/orange About 14,000 people attended that game! Hope you get to see a clip. I have the game. The 65 Cleveland @ Green Bay Champ. Game is a mudfest. 82 Buffalo vs. Green Bay (@ Milwaukee) is another mudfest. I love those games. 1979 Kansas City @ Tampa Bay (rain) I think the score of that game was 9-0. Crazy game.
