Maggie interesting project. You are right you have a chance to be your own wine apart from other Pinto. OR. has its own weather and soil - very different then other areas - even CA just to the south. I have had Pinto from all over the world -- and the best of OR can hold its own on the world stage.( and you can tell it was from OR) The best of luck with it. And I look forward to trying some of your wines.

Sound like a messed up wine going to come from this place .
look if you want to drink fake cheap Oregon wine be my guest, but if you want a really great wine that is real wine drink wine from Moldova and Romania the first country's in the world to produce wine as far back as 7000 years .
