The strange was Brody was the the best all around wrestler of the four. Kerry and Gordy weren't very good on the Mic, Hayes was great on the Mic but was a very average wrestler. Brody was great on the mic and was a good smart wrestler.

People forget that it was Fritz Von Erich that pioneered the concept of cable TV contracts for wrestling that McMahon and Turner later adopted. Had CNN or sth similar been based in Dallas, then I agree that WCCW would have challenged WWE for supremacy. So you could say that it Fritz sowed the same seeds that later killed his business. But it was great while it lasted.
