At this exact moment, I was to the right of the stage, fairly close, with uncontrollable tears streaming down my face. I was at Bonnaroo and thought "Let's see if Al Green does a professional job of phoning it in before I go see David Bryne." I did not expect to see a living legend working it like a no-name kid who had something to prove. It was the best show I saw all weekend, by far. (A phoned in, formulaic set did occur on that same stage, but it was the next night when Springsteen played.)

How nice to see guys doing the BACK up dancin. Love Al, he is doing some concerts this summber, 2010 ..in a nice casino near me.. HEY! check him out at his site!
