Off topic, but, sincere congratulations Josh, on winning the George Polk Award. Journalism in this country was in sad, sad shape before you and a handful of progressive bloggers suddenly appeared on the scene.
If you beleive what you are saying then u are an idiot. Luckly your so much of an idiot that you post your comment on a video almost no one watches. LOl ur a fool.
This is brilliantly done. A play by play coverage of the election, is the best way to frame the discussion, and present in all of your coverage. This way there is no need to discuss the reality in congress, the political system, laws, policy's, etc, at any real depth. It is great Americans like yourself Josh, that will usher in the final solution. Thank you.
McCain, Hillary, and Obama are our best hope, it is great Americans like these, that will provide the final solution! A strong national defence, national health care, a national education system, repeal of many flawed Constitutional rights, strong land and property rights regulations, a strong corpo-co-opted congress, and much much more. We will one day be victorious, and Fascism will be complete. I salute you sir, for the sacrifice and coverage of the race.
Except that "Buck" wastes time on frivolous entertainment news and offers NOTHING of true substance. ( Although, I guess, everyone does need a laugh now and again)
Why wouldn't you allow mobile youtube to carry this? As TPM has become more & more video oriented, it is alienating that part of its audience that mainly reads it via mobile devices. And w/ youtube all you have to do is check a box to make it available. Really disappointing.
Now that McCain has the nomination clinched republicans in Texas may vote for Obama to keep Clinton from being the nominee. In my state we don't have to register along party lines.
Live in Dallas. For practical purposes, our Primary is open. Have a Republican friend that says he will vote for Hillary in the primary because he views her as less electable in the general.
I as a republican think the Bush admin has done so much damage that they will not recover. McCain will make that perception worse. I don't want a candidate that can beat McCain I want one who can defeat him. Since Obama is ahead I will vote for Paul in the primary and Obama in the general.

Ok, politics can be fun, but you should put out some real facts from time to time. The election is in large amounts, but not exclusively, a sports event.
You are exactly right. But will the new voters care in a year about how many votes had Obama on February 21th, 2008, about what Cindy McCain had for supper yesterday, or how Mukasey dodged the 100th question in a row during a hearing?
Some news are less funnny to watch, but maybe more about the truth behind the pose, e.g. /watch?v=vH9SbwSQCk4
ALL OF THE U.S.A WANT OBAMA TO WIN.

It has been four days since we posted this video. How has the weekend changed the dynamic of the race? Do you think it has?
Keep Reading. Keep Watching.

I kind of dig the beard, personally. It says "hard-working journalist." Or maybe "new father."
Also, I love these commentaries. A breath of reason and sanity before diving into the festering pool of Wonkette.

Yeah, but how does Josh ALWAYS seem to have a two-day-old beard? Shouldn't he be cleanshaven every once in a while?
Let's investigate!

Maybe TPM Muckraker can get an intern working on this.

You said, "he won his 9th and 10th contest in February." That's only true if you don't count the 13 contests he won on Feb 5.

When Obama gets tons of new voters to come out and vote, the American people are involved for real. Not just spectators.
This year is not a sports event, it is rare year that the public in interested and voting in record numbers.
