Shit doesn't work, YouTube only displays 720p. I tried uploading in 1080p, the only option available for viewes is 720p.

you have to use programs that have an upload option to upload in 1080... like sonyvegas, final cut, or Adobe after effects. then it will upload 1080p. if you just go download any 1080p video and then try to upload it will only be 720. the quality is lost in the upload.
