Have you even seen the comments section? EVERY comment that says anything even remotely critical (not even necessarily "bad") about OCRemix has been downvoted enough times to be hidden by default, and every comment by OCRemix has a rating like +18.
That takes nothing less than an organized attack on the comments section. It's especially obvious since early on, many of the comments that were downvoted had been top comments, and many of OCRemix's comments had negative ratings.
@321cheeseman Maybe they did organize that. I don't effing know but it doesn't change the fact that you guys are misunderstanding OCR. Someone DID make a thread in the OCR forums linking to this video because of the feud going on. That's probably why there are so many upvotes because we've been looking at these comments and discussing the issue.
And for the record, I enjoy this mix. I just can't believe the volcanic reaction to it being rejected. I bet they asked for a re-submit.

Your faults with this single are superficial at best, its the GREATEST remix I have ever heard in my life of this song, and it needs to be heard by Sega.

I'm sorry if asking this makes me sound like an idiot, as my musical standards are remotely different from the common man in general, but are you saying that if this electrical guitars, snares, and brass instruments were made to sound more realistic, it would be an acceptable piece? So far, the only things you've criticized ARE the piece's instruments. I'm not disagreeing, but is that really it?

Sometimes you just want to hear the music you grew up loving, but not in just beeps and chiptunes, you bring the melodies to as close as perfection as you can get without actually hiring full bands. Your work is amazing. Maybe its no stupid dance remix, but its amazing regardless.
@nickmaida Exactly why I'm not that big a fan of OC Remix. I'll download some of the albums, but most of the songs on them I can barely recognise. There'll be like one or two songs in about 3 albums that closely resemble the original song (and I'll love them as a result), and that'll be it. Take, I dunno, the GCS Rival remix from the Pokemon album; if it wasn't in the name, I wouldn't have been able to identify the original tune. Which kinda sucks, in my opinion.

I feel bad for dragging the argument on but I wanted to try and clear up misunderstandings one last time.
This sounds rather like a Jun Senoue-styled, Sonic Adventure version of the classic theme. I've heard this remixed so many times, but this is probably the best version I've heard.

I've been keeping an eye on this account for a while and I haven't been disappointed with any or your work so far. I'm actually forced me to comment and rate now.
Have you considered submitting your work to OCRemix by any chance? This one in particular could stand a chance just for the production aspect.

Dude, you really should consider putting these re-imagined tracks up for download! This is by far the best remix of Green Hill Zone I have ever heard, and believe me, I've been on the internet for years and have heard them ALL.

Tee, the only things standing between your videos and 100,000+ views are good tags. Make a large list of tags and use them in your videos. BTW, Tee Lopes: music director for Sonic 6. Calling it now.

Very pleasing to listen to! The intro is perfect, and the song has a nice feel to it.
Someone has to ask the obligatory question, though. And I bet you can guess what the question is. I mean, I don't want to sound demanding, but... download links? Pleeease?
Also, do you plan to do more re-imaginings of Sonic 1 music?
