They've murdered the song. I'd rather Angelique Kidjo's version. At least she sticks to the format without the dombolo bits even though she doesn't speak Swahili and mumbles a lot. Dombolo is great but has it's place, and that's not with the classic Malaika song. My tuppence worth :-((

Its definately the love for this song that many people are trying to sing it and changings many parts of the song. The original song is the real deal but, its definately a great trial that these people are trying to sing a language that they don't know. The language is murdered in the process but I feel the love for the original song. Hongera (Congratulations).
