  • the vocals and instrumental arent in harmony, i mean, im my opnion...

  • @TheFredster93 Also, I do believe I shouldn't of called you a Fucking idiot.

  • @TheFredster93 I didn't say being different is good, I said don't put constraints on what you like because of a stereotype that a genre has picked up because of stupid people thinking that all genres have some kind of hatred for one another. And that's both clearly and obviously bullshit...

  • @thefredster93 your spelling is pretty "discusting." get over yourself.

  • @SixTwoMorgan

Sorry, i'm a native spanish speaker. I know more languages than you and your daddy do

  • @TheFredster93 You're a Fucking idiot. Genres mean nothing just listen to what you want and shut the fuck up.

  • @SLIPKNOT133EDGES

Really? thats like throwing salt on some cornflakes as opposed to sugar. Differen't isn't always good buddy...

  • good music is a genre all in its own.

    Get the fuck over it

  • not feeling the vocals man...and to anybody saying this is a good thing just because its different need to remove the stick in their ass because adding rap is NOT a solution to everything refreshing and is NOT UNIQUE OR DIFFERENT. korn, linkin park, limp bizkit, etc have done it, legit metalheads were discusted and life went on. doing this gives rap the upperhand by making them feel like they are superior becausing addit to metal(inferior to them) makes it better.

  • @TheFredster93 People still like it regardless of what you seem to think about it. KEEP BEING MAD FAGGOT LOL!@

  • @DeLuck69 I'm guessing you rock a Gunit hat while headbanging? go listen to some emmure...you'll love it :)

  • @TheFredster93 I'm really not a fan of Emmure, but still, keep letting yourself be unable to experience anything out of your comfort zone ;) just like a good little faggot

  • @DeLuck69 quick to call people faggots huh? talk about comfort zone LOL!!

  • I like it!! Havent heard a good local bands since I Dream in daylight but you guess are good

  • Comment removed

  • Justin bieber sing this song ?

  • This is actually really refreshing for a song that has djent.

  • Wow, who the fuck are these guys trying to kid? This is sooo fucking terrible hah

  • @reallybigd obviously not you you gigantic faggot

  • @reallybigd oh really?

that's what they said about linkin park in the beginning aswell

    these guys own ass :)

  • This will open Djent to an entirely new audience, much like Aerosmith/Run DMC and Nu-Metal in the 2000s, it's just a natural progression. You don't have to like it, hell, you don't even have to listen to it, but realize it's natural. So, get over it. I don't like it, but I approve the natural progression of expression. Remember the people who said that RocknRoll was the Devil's music? Don't be that.

  • ah the sound of musical progress, brings a tear to my japs eye.

  • P.O.D. went djent????

  • I just LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hip hop + Djent. Why didn't it cross my mind before? Because it's genius combination that's why :). SUPERB can't express my enthusiasm enough :)

  • I now love saying the word "clunge".

  • Sure the joke's been made, but nunu-metal

  • Honestly this absolutely kicks ass. Original and in your face. Excellent job :)

  • Awesome... someone found a way to make djent sound generic and boring. And what is this rap shit I'm hearing? These two thing should never have come in contact with each other.

  • @MrSlychosis < this guy is yet to apreciate different styles of music. probably still stuck in his 'metal head' frame of mind :/

  • @MrSlychosis why not? because you say so? music evolves you degenerate fuck

  • @MrSlychosis Its Hacktivist, motherfucker.

  • It's like a better new-school version of Linkin Park, no lie, no hate. Love this band.

  • djent-hop :D....awsome work

  • This is like M.A.N. and Meshuggah and sounds awesome instrumentally but vocals... meh. Vocals don't sound impacting at all. I know not to sound like another band but this isn't the right feel either.

  • Fred Durst found a better band!

  • Not my thing, but I'm glad they are enjoying themselves.

  • I do! this one epic song man...new era of how do we call this shit? rap/djent guess..

  • @ViciousPoisonDevil djap? fap fap.

  • @ViciousPoisonDevil Djent-Hop, Rapjent or maybe even Tech-rap fuck knows

  • wow this sounded so heavy until the gay vocals came in...you cant mix these 2 genres im sorry

  • If the rapping didn't sound like shit and actually had some great flow this would be pretty cool.

That fucking irritating accent and weak rhythmic pattern destroys this

  • @Thatmusictool What accent are you used to?

  • @BiteMyShinyMetal4ss One that isn't this.

  • @BiteMyShinyMetal4ss But again, it's not just the accent, if the rhythm of the rapping had more interesting syncopation it would probably make up for the accent

  • @Thatmusictool Maybe you should listen to their other song, "Cold Shoulder", it fits the rhythm way better.

  • @BiteMyShinyMetal4ss I have heard it, I don't think the rapping is any better.

Meshuggah uses the perfect syncopation of vocals on their album "Chaosphere"

These just sound weak to me

  • @Thatmusictool Then you should stick with Meshugga. I like this more ;)

  • get the vocalist to fuck and weve got a fucking awesome band!

  • I see some folks are Meshuggah copycats. Except Meshuggah don't fucking rap. DOUCHEBAGS!!!

  • @ElephantsGerald You dont get it do you? Clearly Meshugga are their Idols and you are just jealous.

  • @ElephantsGerald YOUR A BELLEND

  • @ElephantsGerald GRAMMATICALLY INCORRECT!!

  • @NickGimacutU Intentional.

  • This is badass!

  • Ben Marvin is a legend, Jay Hurley is genius, timfy james reps the guitar and they are all from MK!!!! Can't wait to see them at craufurd if they play :D

  • Is there anywhere i can get this cd from?!?! i have become a BIG fan of this band!

  • i thought rap metal was an ungodly thing that should never have existed, but this is actually no bad!

  • @WhingyTeen *not

  • Fucking kill me now. This world has nothing left to make me believe in a future. What is wrong with you people?

  • ....I am not interested in rapcore making its return in any way, shape or form. It all died back in the early 2000's and should stay that way. The instrumentals in this song pretty good, but Meshuggah does it better!

  • this is awesome.

  • O.o this soooong is amazinggg.....

  • meshuaggah much?

  • @twistedshatter Yeah I love it when Jens breaks out some filthy UK rap in Meshuggah songs

  • reminds me of a djent version of rage against the machine

  • Just go listen soundtracs from the movie "Judgement Night" . You will find there songs played together by ie. Slayer & Ice T, Biohazard & Onyx or Helmet & House of Pain.

  • 0:30 - "Multiple clunge" ????

  • I... Was not expecting rap metal...

Sweetness, another song for my rap metal playlist! :D

  • what the fuck

  • I agree with the kid below me v

  • People need to realize, they don't care what most of you really think when it comes down to it. They all get in a room and make music and have fun. They spend days of their lives writing their feelings and opinions and putting them into songs with dreams that it will be appreciated by the people's ears that pass by. You can tell their influences and what musician doesn't want to sound like the people who inspired them to play in the first place? But then again, half of you aren't even musicians.

  • @ericsleepless You my friend, Speak the truth.

  • @ericsleepless you are truly my hero. this is what it's all about

  • @ericsleepless Well fuckin' said!

  • @ericsleepless Amen. People calling bands a 'generic piece of crap' because they sound like another band.. While in reality they just wanted to have influences from their idols.

  • You can't sound any faker than weak white-boy rapping like Limp Bizkit, POD, Evanescence, etc. Adding it to djent is detracting from the whole movement.

  • @dhinge Yeah you might want to look at the vocalists in the band before you say "white-boy rapping", the band are doing something different, you can't call something a movement then expect it to stay static. You're just making yourself sound like a fool.

  • @justonefix2626 How bout you go listen to Public Enemy, Cypress Hill, Anthrax, Biohazard, or 311 to hear how metal rapping should be done.

  • @dhinge It's funny, because the guy who sings/raps the most in this band is black.

  • @disfigured75 Then why does he rap like a white boy?

  • @dhinge British people tend to have the sort of accent...

  • @dhinge so in other words why is he good at it?

  • @dhinge evanescence? and you act like white guys are the only group of people who have certain rappers who are untalented. there are plenty of very talented white rappers, and plenty of terrible black rappers. and your talking about djent being ruined? that kind of music was killed the moment the term "djent" was used to describe a genre and all these bulb rippoffs started to emerge.

  • @dhinge And you are the Djent spokesman or what?

  • rap is vocal djent

  • Djent Against The Machine

  • u know fell silent and monuments did this as well w the vocal styles, just not as much...this def works, i can see a band like this making djent as a genre if you will, more recognizable in the end, good or bad...the perception is yours...DOPE!

  • @MusicAsMedicine88 yup youre are very correct. thats the reason why i liked the vocal it had good rhythm to it like verses in rap, but a lot of bands like hardcore bands for example stick to your guns uses these kinds of rhythmic vocals with rhyming the difference is that styg/fellsilent/monuments screamed the verses instead of sraight up attempting to actually make them sound like rap

  • So who thinks rap djent works?

  • @NonyTewberry You really DON`T think it works???

  • @Vrangor LOL You dreaming? This is fucking awesome!

  • rap sucks.

  • This is fuckin ill...the vocals were an utter turn-off at first, but the drop-E guitar has me like fuck it I need an album without gutterals for once.

  • FUCK YEA =D sounds like perhipery

  • This is sick as fuck!

  • Reminds me of: Little kids/girls....Hissy fit knowledge...I want!

  • Stfu if your about to type nu-djent...so sure metal heads said the same thing when meshuggah started raping faces with this music love it

  • this is actually very creative. not too many bands could pull this off

  • well ladies and gentleman: i'd like to introduce: nu djent

when nu metal bands are selling out (who the fuck are linkin park???) and djent bands start sounding all the same (did anybody mention meshuggah???) it's time for a new genre.

    great song btw

  • I'm impressed

  • Fucking. Cool. Shit. Lyrically amazing song.

  • Fuck this, Ever Forthright - Infinitely Inward is far and above this uncreative piece of shit

  • @xVictimOfADownx1 Somebody is butthurt.

  • @TaikimatsuoM hur hur

  • @xVictimOfADownx1 no, the guitars are too soft and not low enough, this song sounds much better IMO.

  • @alexmilani i don't like songs that have redundant djent riffs, which this one does

  • as soon as the vocals started, I gagged.

    Shit.

  • Little*

  • I love how every like girl on YouTube thinks theyre a critic, your opinion doesnt matter so instead of listenin to music you dont like why dont you use this time to find music you do like. Im sure Hacktivist is laughin at these comments cuz theyre the ones playin this music you dont like and makin money while you set at home. And just cuz a band doesnt have a bassist doesnt mean there was no bass tracks recorded, animals as leaders doesnt have a bassist but their first album has bass tracks

  • @BrandonArd91 no it's because they tune their strings so low it's like having a bassist.

  • haters gonna hate!

  • Rap/hiphop has always been terrible. The new style of metal is just as terrible.

Bring back the REAL metal...this shit is just metal by numbers.

  • @Occido70 This comment just reeks of the old horrid hair metal attitudes. There is good in all genres, you writing off countless genres purely because you don't like them just reveals how little your opinion means

  • you guys got any lyrics up for this??

  • shitty

  • sounds like TRC & heart of a coward put together.. fucking sick

  • I love it, grime/rap and djent

    amazing

  • very cool

  • massive

  • P.O.Djent.

  • This is unique. Lemme check out a crapton of djent now

  • @Fredcallicoat More like Djentpop, I just popped the hugest boner at :55

  • dude so awesome

  • heaviest guitars riffs ever, lol. wow

  • Original.

  • this shit makes me happy to live in milton keynes

  • fooooking england accents make this THE SHIT! \m/

  • An occasional broken vocals part or Broken Backing Vocals would really improve this song. But this is awesome.

  • mmmm lovely beat, dope song, deffs one of new favs.

  • MOre songs PLease!!! LOVE IT

  • what is this, rapcore?

  • @timendil Djent-Hop

  • Nice idea, but not my thing. Rap shoulds tay in rap music, It's like taking a piece of mud and try to forge an iron blade with it, it just won't work imo. :)

  • Djent Bizkit.

  • DJENTER SHIKARI... sorry i had to

  • It's funny that people hate on the rapping even though SikTh had rapping in most of their songs as well. Ah well, either way this kicks ass.

  • mediafire . com/?w2gj4ke3p5ej7w8

  • @Arutasu03 I believe you sir have answered your own question.

  • download link please :/

  • Heavy.

  • this is evolution;)

  • disgrace to meshuggah

  • When Emmure turn cockney..

  • it kind of reminds me of p.o.d's vocals =O

  • Is this the new limp bizkit album?

  • @sethmeisterman Um. No, this is talented?

  • @MrGillman121 bass tabs? This band doesnt have a bassist, you fucking moron d*ckhead

  • @Xedify Yeah they might not have a bassist but if you listen closely the guitarist was smart enough to put a layer of bass over it that follows the guitar, now who's the moron d*ckhead :)

  • @moggzyisfuckingmetal

you can also hear bass lines at 1:54, lols at xedify

  • @Xedify LMAO someone either has shit speakers or is just pure thick.

  • @kleckman88 its not bullshit is a rly complex song its also very original, so even if u think its bullshit u cant say that cause its not!

  • @mexvj its self-titled

  • i am in love <3

  • GENERICORE

  • @ANTHMX sigh.

  • 0-0:28 alright, this sounds pretty cool.

0:29 what the hell is this garbage?

  • Comment removed

  • nu-metal bullshit

  • What is this song called dammit!?

  • Hell yes! Damn good to hear vocals like that!

  • 0:01 start nodding head now

3:40 stop head nodding - wondering where you are and what just happened

HOW FUCKING GOOD ARE THESE CUNTS!!!

  • Lyrics please? :)

  • Love it! A unique blend. Have you got any more stuff? Would love to hear more from you.

  • addictive tones.

  • wow mega cool

    like this song

i love the starting guitar electric sound very much ~W~

  • I really want to know how to get this guitar tone in POD farm...so...soo...bad...

  • @ParagonofReality Are you saying that because this Was recorded in POD Farm? Was it?

  • @AnataNile No that's not what I'm saying. I just want to know if it's possible to get this tone in POD Farm.

  • @ParagonofReality Oh O.K. I was gonna say, I think this tone is a bit out of POD Farms reach tbh. Check out Atlanticore - Prototypus, that was recorded using POD Farms Big Bottom.

  • @AnataNile Pod farm + the metal pack add on and you can get tones just as good if not better than this, the first music video version of Icarus Lives was done with a Pod XT and tube screamer haha

  • Very cool - I'm glad someone is blending the new sound of metal with rap/hip-hop. Excellent results - my only suggestion is to make the lyrics more understandable. As it is, I can only understand some of them. Otherwise, awesome!
