They try to get you to incriminate yourself, even if my TV is `on show` , they need evidence that you watch /record `Live TV` , just say `I`m busy

It is better to post the letter without a stamp. TVLA will get a note from the post office telling them they have to collect a letter from the sorting office and then they have to pay around £1.80 to get it.

As it is a supposedly a business reply, TVLA should provide prepaid envelopes, the tight fisted barstewards.

technically, i think you can own a tv without paying the tv licensing, the fees are actually covering the broadcasting of bbc channels, which means, if you choose to have a dvd player, buy movies to watch on your tv and that is all you use it for, but not to watch any broadcasting channels, you don't pay crap to them, the argument with that though is, how can you proove your not watching broadcasted programs, maybe ripping the antenner part out of the tv and using scart to watch dvd might help.

I pay for the NHS even if i go private, I pay for services in towns i don't even live in. The BBC is a public entity so that's why you have to pay, for the benefit of society. TV Licensing are a private company with no more legal powers than any private citizen.  So it seems to me they are liable to action under both civil and criminal law under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997. Google on the name of the act and you can read up on it.

Good video I love it. The Royal Mail will surcharge TVLA for the letters. The price will include second class postage and £1.00 surcharge. It will a build up at the local Royal Mail Delivery Office.
