@ElMirc lol all u have to do is make an obsidian portal, and then put fire in the middle of the portal then u can go to Nether which is the name of the place they're in.

@Saber192 Portals dont work in smp, you have to play mad scientist with the level files to actually put a map in the nether

This'd be awsome for a minigame, Players only have wood to build with and must build structures to protect themselves from a ghast attack (that arrives in a certain amount of minutes) and the aim is to be the last man standing.

Portals don't work in SMP. The "hellworld=true/false" thing in the properties file decides whether the world will be considered "hell," or if it will be the normal world. This doesn't overwrite existing textures, however, so you end up with a "normal world with hell mobs and background" hybrid.

Its hell world with grass, the farm mobs are spawning on the grass while the other hell mobs are just spawning any where.
