I have the guide for this game I love it cuz I can get the info on all of the characters unlike the one that came with the game. I was the best $20 I have ever spent on a game guide. I reccommend it.

Nice Review, I share the same opinion of the SSE as when I started I was literally like this :O however later on (Near the area where you have that huge map) it gets boring.

Also you don't need to play the SSE to unlock all the characters though it is easy.

You have to play around 450 matches to gain the ability to have every character.

I unlocked most of the characters that way. (Or other ways other than the SSE) I'll have to VS as I use Sonic, Ike and Toon Link.
