@drjeffamatrixx hahahaha your probabaly right... but did you really pause this and count keys? its pretty hard to tell if theres another octave or not. plus Duke was a famous support of the cp 70, and toured with it for his own concerts often. tho this is a zappa show so who is to say what he had. anyways i just thought it funny that you found the need to say that.
@flamingbalsac1 Duke was a famous support of the CP70 back in the 70's, but this concert is almost 1984 and it's very easy to tell that this is a Yamaha CP80, because of the lowest A note and the B flat next to it. You can also hear the upper notes that the CP70 doesn't have, and, mainly, because I also own a CP80 here in my studio. No need to pause the video at all, to figure it out. I don't find it "funny" to say that, I just saw the CP70 mentioned, but in this video, he plays the CP80. :-)
George Duke is hilarious @0:44! He entertains you with the facial expressions and allows you to feel the emotion of the music throughout his solo, those chord progressions, leading to the rumbling and rumbling, only to "explode" @2:40! Takes a one sec breather, goes back and does that spontaneous Zappa thing, whispers and lets us know @3:06 that the "show" is over, it's time to prepare for "Sweet Baby!" He's very expressive, not only in his music, but his gestures are priceless!!!
love it!

Between 1:04 and 1:17 it's Gm11- Am- Bbmaj7-C9; Dbmaj9-Db/Eb-Db/F-Gbmaj9; Bm11-C#m-Dmaj7-E; Am9-G/B-Cmaj7-Eb/Db... or at least very close to that.
