Sam beam is sick but his shows would be a lot more fun if he made them less depressing. Everyone loves live "upward over the mountain" cause he made one of his saddest songs really fun. Sodom south georgia would be a lot better if he went nuts and jammed out to it. Who likes getting drunk and going to one of his concerts where he randomly plays downer renditions? Nobody.

I think I prefer the Sam version, but that slide guitar ... that makes it tough to say for sure.

He is so much better now when he tours with nothing but an acoustic guitar and no other band members...Sam is the man

it's all nice and whatnot, but this rendition was just so much more generic than what is on the album. it's so much nicer stripped down.
