So if it could read the amount of electric current in the bicep then why not have something similar on the other arm doing the same reading. I am assuming that there is a difference. Not sure. Then have them correspond and create/use a formula for energy based on estimated muscle mass to automatically compensate. Or is that what it already does? Only needing one arm?
@Weston29406 If a stroke patient has a little bit of muscle signal in the affected arm, they can use the Myomo mPower device to learn to move that arm again. The device reads the signal from the affected arm, so they use it at the same time as the unaffected arm, or by itself.
@asriley29 Oh okay I didn't even know that the signal was less. But I guess that would be why. Yeah I don't know as much about prosthetic but I am trying to learn. Thanks.
