It's very rare that an animated movie is good and original. Too many Sailor moon and Gundam and Dragonball remakes out there. But this one shows artistic genius that hasn't been around since Akira.

yeah there is an english dub version out too, surprisingly its very good, the english voice actors are good.

The end is the best end of a film since "stay" or "2001 odyssee im weltraum".

for the modern generation of b-movies-watcher(like batman, war of the worlds, king kong, 300, eg.) it is difficult to understand.

if you like more than simple comics (there are pretty comics, of course. i think of enki bilal) or simple books (perhaps john brunner: the sheep look up) then you HAVE TO WATCH THIS GREAT MOVIE

Nope, they're not related by blood. If it helps any, in the movie you get a glimpse of White introducing himself to Black.
