it was mccartney singing? Man the beatles were unbelievable , the way they could sound so different on each song and sometimes sound like each other aswell. I always assumed oh darling was lennon with the signature snarl but i listened to ir the other day and thought it might be mccartney cheers for confirming:P

funny that you mentioned that you thought Oh Darling! was sang by Lennon because Lennon REALLY really wanted to sing that song, he thought his voice was better suited to belt out this soulful blues song, but McCartney wrote it so he got to sing it

but it was said that even years later Lennon was still kind of mad that McCartney didn't let him sing it, if you want to hear Lennon sing it, buy The Beatles Anthology CD collection, because Lennon sings it a little during rehearsals with Paul
