  • I like how the 2 top comments contradict each other

  • i like the style, GXSCC makes 8 bit songs

  • one of my favorite megaman games of all time! live on bluebomber!

  • LIVE ON MEGAMAN!!!!!! capcom...your WEAK!

  • SHUT UP, no one cares about how many bits there are and what kind of 8-bit it is, let's just enjoy this amazing goddamn music .

  • GXSCC?

  • You know, I've been looking around, and considering the fact that there were a lot of 8 bit systems of sound processing, it's getting really irritating that the NES system is highly praised. Yeah, I know, it's a classic, but then there's that and holding milestones as the only thing possible.

In essence, that reeks of annoyance just as much as whining over english dubbing in video games and anime. This crap needs to stop.

  • omg... sooo epic *_*

  • This is 8-bit. Just not NES 8-bit.

  • GXSCC fail =/

  • Could I possibly use this for something?

  • ugh ur all noobs. THIS IS 8-bit, but not NES 8-bit, MSX2 8-bit, get your facts straight b4 dissing...btw NES 8-bit >>> MSX2 8-bit

  • @oxe161 Sure... :)

  • @oxe161 Actually. MSX2 sometimes sounds a lot better/on par with the NES. Just look at the Metal Gear soundtracks. However, GXSCC does awful conversions and does not nearly represent the capabilities of the MSX.

  • @oxe161 NES 8-bit > 100x MSX2 -bit

  • ...Now I wanna play megaman games

somehow i got to this from UN Owen Was Her

  • Even if this isn't 8-bit, it still sounds freaking epic.

  • 1.freaking.word.EPIC.

  • Sounds more GB than 8-bit.

  • @GravoForce12958

lol this is to hq. for a GB :P

  • change the title of this video haha

  • I just want to apologize for not being clear with my description of the video. This was indeed made with GXSCC and I did grab a midi from VGMusic...

    :(

Either way, I still like how this sounds so I'll leave it up here for the few who still care for this sort of thing.

  • GXSCC. fail.

  • NICE!!!!!

  • If you want to hear a real NES remix of this, go on EdgeHyperMatter's Newground's account and you'll find it there!

  • GXSCC was used.

  • This sounds great! I could totally imagine this as being played on the NES hardware.. It may be a bit out of "range" for the nes on the melody, but the beat is absolutely NES worthy. Great work!

  • I don't care what other people say about this remix. I like it.

  • this is 16-bit, not 8-bit, but it still sounds great =D

  • this is really bad

  • I don't wanna sound rude or something, but this sucks!

  • That is sooooooooooooo cool! Just listen to that music! :3

  • not 8 bit

  • Who cares?

  • Well, i think it's not wrong to care about it, if the title is named as an 8 Bit remix.

  • Comment removed

  • doing it wrong

  • can we all just agree it sounds badass??? i mean srsly listen to that xD

  • that isn't 8-bit

  • @Ecclesiamember Yes it is. It's MSX2 8-bit.

  • Hey! Even if it doesn't sound THAT 8-bit, doesn't mean it isn't freakin' awesome!

  • Nice job! Do you know where I could find an 8-bit version of Blaze Heatnix from Megaman X6 ?

  • probably impossible

  • Woah, that was really cool, and really weird sounding. It was a good weird, though. Good job!

  • I agree, even though a bunch of zealous idiots are going to downrate my comment.

  • @Novaequalsftw

You're right. I think it's actually PC Engine synth, which is badass all on its own.

  • It does'ent sound 8-bit...

  • Awesome.

  • A lot of people say this doesn't sound 8-bit, but it DOES sound 8-bit. It's just not NES style 8-bit, which is what most people associate with 8-bit.

Even so, however many bits of processing power a console has really has little to do with what the music will sound like. Believe it or not, most arcade games from the 80's and early 90's, despite sounding superior to the NES and even SNES, ran on 8-bit processors.

  • @tuxedomoroboshi When people say music sounds 8-bit, the general consensus of the meaning is that the song sounds like a chiptune. Like the NES, Commodore 64, Gameboy, etc.

This is not 8-bit music in the general understanding of the term. If we talk in broad terms, ANY music can easily be converted to 8-bit quality.

  • @tuxedomoroboshi yes but your not getting the picture the reason why we are all so POed is becuase

    1. he CLAIMS its 8-bit NES style which it isnt

    2. he most likely ripped it from VGmusic archive

    3. heck he even sais download the mp3 while infact GXSCC saves on WAV just to potn that out if you want REAL NES 8-BIT FREAKIN MAKE IT YOURSELF (i was talkin to legendarysupermario and all the other 8-bit imposters not you yuxedomoroboshi lol

  • @saurfan That's right that he does claim it's NES style 8-bit, but it most certainly is not. It does still sound 8-bit to me, but it's not NES style 8-bit like he claims. You're right about that. Man, a year has passed since I left that comment... I wonder why LegendarySuperMario hasn't gotten rid of the word "NES" from his description...

  • @tuxedomoroboshi yes. It's not NES 8-bit. It's MSX 8-bit.

  • Not 8-Bit.

  • It doesn't sound 8-bit, but its still awesome. :D

  • Doesn't sound 8-bit...

  • music doent sound 8 bit the bass does

  • Mega Man is ONE buff twelve year old.

  • Just wait till you see the original cover.

  • Yeah, but the Mega Man in this piece of art actually looks like, well, Mega Man.

As for the music, FAR from true 8-bit. Fail.

  • And then theres the megaman 9 cover.

  • Ten year old, actually. Though, that's just American boxart. He's not buff in the original Japanese artwork by Keiji Inafune. Of course, it doesn't matter whether or not he does have muscles, though, because he's a robot, and all his strength wouldn't be dependent on those muscles anyway. =P
