one trivia note on this scene, in his bio it was told that in this very scene when they both jump into the big drum mr kaye landed wrong on his right ankle and broke it, the cut to where they both rise up for the finale wasnt filmed till about a month later.
Vera Ellen is beautiful and can dance - just my kind of a girl. Danny K. - please do argue against if I'm wrong, but somehow I feel that his style (of humour) doesn't work nowadays. He's talented and I can see/understand why people thought that he was hilarious in his performances during 30's-50's, but still it just doesn't make me laugh (except occasionally).
Hey guys (and dolls) - I would like to know also which company distributes these films as DVD's (just in case I might want to purchase one). Wouldn't be such a big job to add that info in "info" when upping a vid - at least distributor might have less against posting a vid here. Actually - a free idea for DVD distributors: showcase your movies here and sell them over the Internet (after all movie and particular musicals are "experience goods" - an Econ101 term).
cbalducc is right. The confusion comes because MGM bought the Samuel Goldwyn library of films and distributes them on DVD as MGM home videos (but the credits still read Samuel Goldwyn).
irrepressible

"Wonder Man" was a Samuel Goldwyn production, not an MGM film. God bless.
