There's a way to intercept his 3-uppercut combo. After you star punch him, he'll move back, and after he takes 2 steps forward, throw a hook to the belly, and you'll have intercepted it.

Damn your good but you can uppercut soda before the rage attack so hes probably beatable i tried doing a no dodge challenge except no blocking either

Also Super Macho Man (contender & TD) can be beat without dodging, but the only way you can do it you have to have Headgear & every spin move he does you have to dodge them.

hey dude next time when you come across opponents that can't be beat without dodging, just beat'em up ok. man these no dodging challenges are harder than no stun challenges.

Dodging would leave him with a full 16 hearts. Blocking doesn't count because there is a cost for blocking.

If he did that, Soda would just go berserk and knock him down.

If he used the star right after getting it, Soda would still go berserk and knock him down.

Either way, you get knocked down.

I just realized, you could have definitely won that Soda match.

At 7:46, if you threw a left hook at him as he came at you (after letting him drink), then do a delayed right jab followed by a star punch, you would have won it right there.

Let me just say, that this was very impressive.  You ALMOST beat Soda!! You have to add that in when you beat him. It definitely could be possible, please try! Oh, and I have used all of your exhibition challenge walkthroughs and they pretty much got me through them. I have 3 stars on everyone except TD Sandman (haven't tried to get them yet, and I haven't got DK in Last Stand yet either). Thanks for all the help!

OK, let's see:

You beat all of the guys in the 1st 2 circuits in no more than 1:07 and Aran Ryan was in 1:10.

It shows that you either need to practice countering punches in the other circuits, or you have to start dodging. But I see that a way to a great time in this game is to counter the enemy's attack.

Also I hear you're having trouble with TD Great Tiger. Why don't you just OHKO him? Use the star as a makeshift duck? You only need one star to do it.

I tried that, the star punch ducks but he doesn't center himself in time for the star punch to connect =/.

I think TD tiger may be possible, but not with my strategy. Everything goes fine until he starts vanishing which makes stuff a lot harder to counter and some attacks just can't be countered at all...

Phase 3:

-Make sure you recover as much as possible during his 2nd KD.

-He will use 3 punches on you; you should have very little life left.

-He will taunt you.

-Left hook, then a delayed right jab, then use the star immediately for KD 3

Yeah, since you don't use it at the start, you don't need 2 stars for it when he taunts you, just the one you get from the hook. Oh, and no problem.

Phase 1: -Counter both hooks, use stars -Whiff a punch while he's in the back (he does 3 hits on you instead of 4) -Get next 2 stars, KD 1 (recover if you want) Phase 2: -Let him knock you down when he gets up. -Get up, then get a star off his hook -Get a star off his bottle, then star punch him as he walks back in to do his uppercuts. -While he's back at the ring again, whiff another punch (for next phase) -Let him knock you down again. -Get up and get a star from his hook, use it for KD 2
