Having enjoyed Rich's other book so much, I couldn't wait until this latest one became available! I wasn't disappointed. LOVED IT!!! I'm just waiting to see it on film (hint, hint). Even if only a low budget film, the story is one that needs to be told to the masses.

I was a little confused by the scene where there is another guy in the same room with the two guys, apparently videotaping them undressing each other, and then sending the photos to the NIS. Is this a sex tape for themselves and then the guy who videotaped them betrayed them, or were they were being videotaped without their knowledge. I would assume the former based on the fact that the photos sent to the Navy showed them both smiling at the camera.

nope, that's a scene from the book. They were being photographed by the Washington Herald for photos that can be used on the cover (with their faces hidden) then the 'reporter' says "hey, how about some sexy shots with your shirts off, these will only be for you." SPOILER ALERT: that's where the 'betrayal' comes in.

It promises to have the same intense story as Secrets, and delve into the lives of two men who only want what everyone else in the world wants, and that is Love.
